“Something big?” Stephan’s eyes widened in shock, his voice rising without him even realizing it. “What is it?”

Victoria calmly spelled out every detail of Steven’s plan to blow up the village, making sure everyone present understood exactly what was going on.

“What?” Stephan slammed his hand on the table, making it shake.

If they hadn’t already finished eating, all that food would’ve gone to waste.

Stephan was furious. “How dare he! Steven’s lost his mind! Does he even realize how many talented people live in this village? Does he really think he can run the show single–handedly?”

Victoria quickly said, “Uncle Stephan, don’t lose your temper. I’m back so we can figure out together how to deal with this.”

Calvin’s face was grim as he looked at Victoria and asked in a serious tone, “Are all those people in the village actually death row inmates?”

Victoria nodded without hesitation. “Yes, Grandpa. It’s all thanks to Simon. He recognized one of them as a death row inmate, so I got suspicious and asked someone to check it out. Turns out, every single one of them is a death row inmate.”

Simon blushed a little at the sudden praise. “Honestly, I just happened to recognize him. I was worried Steven sent him to hurt Grandpa, but I never thought it would turn out to be such a big help.”

Stephan clenched his fists and asked urgently, “Victoria, what exactly are you going to do?”

Victoria explained, “Time is tight. I only uncovered yesterday that Steven’s real goal is to blow up the entire village. So I need to get complete evidence of his plan as soon as possible and bring him to justice.”

As she spoke, she pulled out the photos Mara had found, then turned to Stephan with a serious look. “I’ve already pinpointed where Steven hid the bombs. Tonight, have the villagers quietly dig them up and replace them with the fireworks I specially bought.

“Tomorrow night, I’m hosting a grand fireworks show in the village, and everyone tuning into my livestream will get to see it.”

Stephan nodded solemnly. “Alright. Leave it to me. I’ll gather all the villagers tonight and make sure Steven’s plot fails.”

Just then, Simon spoke up. “Vickie, is there anything I can do to help?”

Victoria replied, “If there’s any chaos or riot tomorrow night, your job is to keep Grandpa safe.”

Simon nodded firmly. “Got it.”

Steven froze for a second, cup in hand, then grinned. “Well, she walked right into the trap herself. I was only going to blow up the village to teach her a lesson, but now that she’s back, she can die with the rest of them.”

Just then, his phone rang.

His man picked up the phone from the crystal round table, took the call, and respectfully handed it over.

“Victoria?” He frowned. His man heard Steven’s words and immediately looked over, alert.

“That’s you,” Victoria said breezily on the other end.

Steven’s expression darkened even more. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not Seth, and whatever happens to you has nothing to do with me!”

His man watched as Steven put down the phone, then asked cautiously, “What’s going on?”

Steven’s face was grim. “Make the arrangements. I’m heading to Mullinran Village tomorrow.”

His man was stunned. “Tomorrow? Boss, we’re supposed to blow up Mullinran Village at midnight tomorrow! Why would you go there?”

Steven didn’t explain. He just said, “I know, but I have to go tomorrow.”
