Curtis was instantly pissed when he saw Victoria just toss aside the apology letter he’d spent the whole night agonizing over.

Curtis snapped, “What, do you want me to kneel in front of you and write another apology? Victoria, don’t let it go to your head! You only made a splash at the welcome party last night. Do you really think we’re desperate to bring you back into the family?”

Julia finally lost her patience. “Victoria, this is too much. Curtis has already been punished, and your dad slapped him in front of everyone last night. He’s already been humiliated. He apologized, so why are you hung up on those little things from the past?”

Curtis snapped, clearly losing patience. “Stop harping on your old hardships! Let bygones be bygones. We can give you a life people would kill for. Why can’t you just move on?”

Victoria’s eyes, once calm, now turned icy cold as she stared straight at Curtis, enunciating every word. “Ha, if that’s how you want it, I’ll stop sugarcoating things.

“Every bit of suffering I went through–I’ll never forget it. And I will never forgive you for how you treated me or what you did. Not in this lifetime, not ever!”

Her eyes locked onto Julia, and she continued, “Julia, I’ve already spelled it out for you. I’ve known for ages that you and Darell were fully aware I was your real daughter.

“Yet you still heartlessly left me to drift outside, until you needed someone to replace Angelica and marry Jackson, the cripple. That’s the only reason you dragged me back into the Binder family.

“So let me be clear, my only goal now is to destroy everything you hold dear, everything you’ve built your pride on, and make you experience firsthand what it feels like to have nothing, to be powerless, humiliated, and utterly hopeless.”

Curtis frowned, snapping, “Victoria, even if you refuse to forgive us, that doesn’t mean you can go around throwing wild accusations and spreading baseless rumors about us!

“Saying Mom and Dad knew you were out there and deliberately left you behind? That’s just ridiculous and completely unfounded!”

Victoria just let out a cold, mocking laugh. “Whether I’m slandering them or not, they know the truth better than anyone. I don’t have the patience or interest to waste my time making up stories about you.”

Curtis frowned, catching the guilty look on his mother’s face. “Even if that’s true, I honestly think you deserved to be left out there.

“With how stubborn and spiteful you’ve been since you came back, if they’d brought you home any earlier, you would’ve just brought nothing but trouble to the Binder family!”

Before Victoria could say a word, Daisy shot up from her seat and, without warning, slapped Curtis hard across the face. “Shut up! Curtis, are you even human? How can you say something so heartless to your own sister?”

Curtis clutched his face, completely stunned, unable to react for a moment.

Even Victoria was taken aback, staring in disbelief as Daisy snapped like that.

‘Wow, so Daisy’s not as much of a pushover as I thought,‘ Victoria thought.

Daisy pointed at Curtis, her whole body shaking with fury. “You bunch of cold–blooded bastards! Get out! Get out of my house right now, and don’t you ever come back! Or I’ll have the bodyguards break your legs!”

Julia was stunned for a moment, then her face twisted with shame and rage. “Daisy, you useless thing! Who gave you the right to hit my son?”

With that, she lunged at Daisy, trying to return the slap for her son.

But Victoria wasn’t about to let Julia get anywhere near Daisy. With a cold, precise motion, she shot a silver needle straight at her, so quick and stealthy that nobody saw a thing.

The needle flew so stealthily, and everything happened in a flash. No one even realized what had happened.

Julia froze halfway through her attack, her eyes bulging in shock. She tried to say something, but couldn’t get a word out. Her body suddenly went limp, and she collapsed, twitching on the floor like she’d been struck by lightning.

“Mom, what’s wrong?” Curtis shouted, panic in his voice as he rushed to his mother’s side, trying to help her

Victoria didn’t even bother to hide her satisfaction. “Yeah, I’m absolutely thrilled.”

After all, Julia brought this suffering upon herself. Victoria couldn’t help but feel a cold satisfaction.

Angelica’s eyes widened, pretending to be panicked as her voice quivered. “Curtis, what do we do? Is Mom going to be alright?”

Watching Curtis bark at her like she was some maid he could order around, Victoria just let out a cold, mocking laugh. “Curtis, even now you think you can threaten me? If you get down on your knees and beg, maybe I’ll show some mercy and take a look at her.”

Angelica, feigning panic, said with a trembling voice, “Victoria, this is serious! Can you stop fighting with Mom and Curtis for now? Please, just help Mom and see what’s going on.”

Victoria stayed cold, arms folded across her chest, and scoffed, “Curtis just called me a curse on the family- how could I possibly save Julia? Go find someone else if you’re so worried.”

Daisy thought Julia’s sudden fit was odd, but after Curtis’s cold–blooded remarks, she felt nothing but contempt. She snapped at the bodyguards, “Throw them out! I don’t want to see any of them in my house!”

Angelica, feigning panic, pleaded, “Daisy, how can you be so ruthless?”

Daisy kept her face icy. “Ruthless? Compared to you lot, I’m practically a saint. Now get out. Don’t end up dying here and holding up real emergency care.”

The bodyguards barged in.

Curtis, furious, supported his mother Julia and glared at Victoria, his eyes blazing with anger. “Are you seriously not going to help Mom?”
