Lydia didn’t say a word. She just turned and headed for the balcony, twisting the faucet open.
Daisy, feeling pretty proud of herself, figured she’d shut Lydia up for good. In her mind, Lydia was too embarrassed to argue back, probably just getting ready to wash up and go to bed.
Monica and Fiona exchanged worried glances. They could tell Daisy’s words had gone too far. Fiona spoke up in a small voice, “Daisy, Lydia already said he’s her boyfriend. You can’t say things like that.”
Monica nodded. “Seriously, Daisy, we’re all adults here. Lydia can date whoever she wants. It’s her business.”
Daisy rolled her eyes. To her, Monica and Fiona were hopeless. Had Lydia really won them over with just a cheap bottle of suspicious sunscreen?
“Come on, do you honestly believe that’s really her boyfriend? Those rich old guys outside, you think any of them are actually single?”
She wasn’t even trying to hide it. She was flat-out calling Lydia a homewrecker.
Just as Daisy finished, Lydia came back in, carrying a full basin of water. She dragged the chair out from under Daisy’s desk and set it down by the bed.
Suddenly, Daisy had a really bad feeling. “Lydia, what are you doing? You… wait, no—”
Before she could react, Lydia hurled the entire basin of cold water right at Daisy’s face.
It soaked her completely. Head to toe. The bed, the blankets, her pillows, everything was dripping. She looked like a complete disaster.
Daisy screamed, the sound echoing down the hallway. “Lydia, are you insane?”
She was in shock, staring at Lydia like she’d never seen her before. How could she actually have the nerve to do that?
Monica and Fiona stood frozen, staring between the two of them. For a second, nobody said anything. But honestly, after what Daisy said, could anyone really blame Lydia?
Lydia’s face was calm, her eyes cold. She even managed a small, mocking smile. “Didn’t you say you felt dirty? Just helping you clean up. And maybe washing out that filthy brain of yours while I’m at it.”
Lydia’s eyes were icy, her answer flat. “Yes.”
Daisy cried even harder. “You heard her! She admits it! I’ve never met anyone so unreasonable and violent in my life!”
Ms. Brown’s expression only got harsher. “Since you admit it, tell me. How are you going to make this right?”
Lydia let out a cold laugh. “Why should I?”
Ms. Brown’s patience was wearing thin. “Why? You drenched her, her bed, her desk, all her things. Why shouldn’t you be the one to fix this?”
Lydia’s eyes narrowed. “Why don’t you ask her why I did it?”
Ms. Brown hesitated, then turned to Daisy. “What happened? Why did she throw water on you?”

thank u!...

the next upload is exciting. i cant wait....
Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
