Ready to Rule: The Real Heiress Strikes Back novel Chapter 902

Spencer almost lost it right then and there.

He spun around, and his heart nearly stopped. The hallway outside was packed with people, all staring straight at him.

His mind went blank. This was it. He was finished.

“You… all of you…”

“Spencer, what are you doing here so late, sneaking around like this?” Vincent’s voice was sharp, his eyes full of suspicion.

Spencer hurried to hide the syringe behind his back. He forced a laugh, scrambling for any excuse. “Nothing. Seriously. I just came by to check if we still had enough medicine for everyone. You know how tight things are right now, with everything going on…”

His words faded, along with his confidence.

“If I’m right, you just injected the virus into the medicine supply. Tomorrow, when the patients with mild symptoms get their treatment, things will get way worse. Some of them might even die. Is that what you wanted?” Lydia’s glare was ice cold, her voice dripping with disgust.

Thank god everyone was wearing protective gear. Otherwise, the stuff in Spencer’s hand could have infected them all.

“You’re making this up. You’re trying to frame me!” Spencer snapped back, his voice shaking.

“Spencer, are you really going to keep lying?” Vincent’s voice cracked with anger. “We saw you. Every one of us saw what you did.”

“Vincent, come on, don’t lose your head. Don’t listen to her. She’s just trying to stir up trouble between us. You all know I’ve always looked out for you, right?”

Vincent’s eyes blazed. “Save it. You’re the one who spread the virus. The director, the professors, all those people… It’s because of you they’re gone. You’re a monster.”

“You should be rotting in hell! You belong with the people you killed. You’re nothing but a traitor.”

Spencer’s face turned gray, his lips trembling.

“You… you all know?”

“Yes,” someone replied, voice trembling with rage. “We saw everything. You lied to us. You told us to cover up what was really happening here, just so people would let their guard down. You wanted the virus to spread all over the country. You deserve the worst hell imaginable.”

Another person burst into tears. “You ruined my family. My parents got sick because of this. All they did was bring me dinner at work. Now I may never see them again. I hope you suffer a thousand times over.”

Spencer’s legs gave out. He clung to a medicine rack, barely able to stand as the crowd closed in.

He looked at Lydia, his voice barely a whisper. “How… How did you find out?”

She hadn’t even been at the hospital that long. How on earth had she figured him out?
