Chapter 216 She Runs Away
She continued, “The toxin is already in your lungs. I need to use needles to pull it all out.”

Noelle moved fast and precisely, using the needles to force the poison out. Every time a needle went in, some people started throwing up thick, black blood.
With her there, the senior officials finally relaxed.
“Arrest Rachel now.” Sebastian glanced at Noelle. She was worn out from the treatment. His voice was cold as steel. “Bring her back alive–or bring her corpse.”
Once he said that, everyone knew Rachel was finished.
This time, no one defended her.
Rachel brought that on herself.
Inside the medical room, Noelle kept working.
Sweat beaded at her temples, but her hands never shook.
When she pulled out the final needle, the last guy coughed up a mouthful of dark blood. Color slowly returned to his face.
“The poison is gone.”
Noelle straightened and wobbled. Sebastian quickly caught her around the waist.
He lifted her and let her lean against him. “I’m taking you back to rest.”
“Okay, honey.” Noelle smiled faintly, resting her head on his shoulder, then told the senior officials, “For the next three days, give them a detox brew daily. I’ll send the prescription soon.”
“Yes, thank you, Mrs. Menzie!”
Garrick’s voice shook with relief. His son was sleeping peacefully now, breathing steadily.
At that moment, everyone looked at Noelle with true respect and awe.
In the northern desert, IBI members received the order.
The leader there hung up and asked, “Where’s Rachel?”
“Dr. Bourn should be resting in her room. What’s going on?”
He said sharply, “Get a team. Come with me now!”
The call said Rachel had switched the prescription, poisoning a large group of IBI headquarters elites. If not for Sebastian’s mysterious wife, IBI would’ve suffered badly.
They stormed to Rachel’s room, but she was gone.

Chapter 216 She Runs Away
The place was cleared out, clothes missing. She’d slipped away sometime earlier.
“Chase her!”

Meanwhile, Rachel was driving an off–road truck, almost out of the northern desert.
She was the one who swapped the formula. By now, they should be collapsing from the poison.
That was why she picked her moment and ran away.
If Sebastian wanted to be cruel to her, she wouldn’t play nice either.
He forced her to do this!
The truck tore across the empty desert, sand flying everywhere.
Rachel clenched the wheel, eyes dark and vicious, with a flash of smug triumph on her lips.
Out of nowhere, a black armored off–roader charged straight at her, not slowing at all.
It came in hard, packed with brutal force.
Right before impact, Rachel panicked, jerked the wheel, and slammed the brakes. Her head smashed into the steering wheel. Her temple split open, blood pouring out. She felt woozy.
The other vehicle’s door swung open.
Fighting the dizziness, Rachel looked up.
A woman stood there in sleek black leather, straight and sharp like a blade. A heavy machine gun rested casually on her shoulder, a half–smile on her lips.
Rachel didn’t know her, which eased her nerves. At least that woman wasn’t from IBI.
“Who are you?”
That woman looked over, lips slowly curling.
“Listen up–I’m Serena Wynn.”
“Hello, Serena.”
Back at IBI headquarters, Noelle answered Serena’s call.
