She leaned in and whispered, “Where’s your evidence? Any recordings? Messages? You’ve got nothing at all, yet you still dare extort me?”
Holly froze, unable to say a word.
Viola deliberately raised her voice. “Everyone, take a good look. This is Holly–the student who got expelled. She made mistakes, refuses to admit them, and now wants to drag others down with her.”
Her eyes swept across the crowd, her tone full of natural arrogance. “I’m the Guzmans‘ heiress. Why would I lower myself to do something like that? Holly, take a good look at yourself. Are you even worthy of being compared to me?”
Students nearby started whispering, “Exactly. How could the Guzmans‘ heiress do something like that?”
“Holly is just desperate and taking it out on others.”
“So nasty. She’s already miserable and still wants to ruin people…”
Under the weight of those mocking looks, Holly turned pale.
Satisfied, Viola waved at the security guards who had just arrived. “Take her away. She’s no longer a student here. Don’t let random people wander onto campus anymore.”
As Holly was dragged away, Viola turned gracefully, then suddenly stiffened when she saw Alina standing under a nearby tree.
Alina looked at her coldly, said nothing, and turned to leave.
That single glance sent a chill down Viola’s back.
Why is Alina here?!
Suppressing her panic, Viola hurried after her. “Alina, I can explain-”
Alina stopped. When she turned around, her gaze was sharp as ice. “Explain what? Explain how you used someone pitiful, or how you used our family name to bully others?”
“I didn’t!” Viola denied quickly. “Holly framed me-”
“That’s enough,” Alina cut in. Her voice wasn’t loud, but it carried clear authority. “Viola, remember who you are. The Guzman name isn’t something you use to step on people.”
She stepped closer, eyes blazing. “If I ever catch you abusing our family name again–especially if you go after Noelle…”
She didn’t finish, but the warning in her tone sent a chill down Viola’s spine.
“Alina, you’ve really misunderstood…” Viola tried again.
Alina had already turned away. “Behave yourself.”
Watching Alina leave, Viola clenched her fists.
Alina had never truly treated her like a real sister!

She had to secure her position in the Guzmans and then drive Alina out.
Viola stared after Alina, a cruel look flashing in her eyes.
She took out her phone and quickly dialed a number. “Mom, I miss you…”

On the other end, Mary’s gentle voice sounded concerned. “What’s wrong, Charlotte? Did someone bully you at school?”
“No…” Viola said softly, deliberately adding a sob. “I just ran into Alina. She seems to have misunderstood me…”
Mary immediately tensed. “Did she give you a hard time again? That child really has no sense of being an older sister! Don’t worry. I’ll call and scold her right now!”
“No need, Mom,” Viola said, sounding sensible. “Maybe she was just in a bad mood. Oh, by the way, I heard Grandpa hasn’t been feeling well lately. I was thinking of visiting him this weekend.”
“You’re so considerate,” Mary said warmly. “But your grandpa already has a doctor recommended by Mr. Haller. You should rest this weekend instead.”
Viola’s eyes narrowed. “A doctor? What kind of doctor?”
“I’m not sure,” Mary replied. “Mr. Haller arranged it. I heard the doctor is very skilled. I’ll go back to check this weekend.”
Viola didn’t ask further. Angus had never been close to her anyway. She’d visited him before, but he always kept his distance.
Whether he lived or died had nothing to do with her.
After the military drill ended, Noelle and the others officially began classes.
Unlike many universities where freshmen mostly had easy courses, Kingstowne University arranged both theory and hands–on practice from the first year.
“Today, we’ll take you to the municipal hospital to observe real clinical cases,” the professor announced. “This will be your first time seeing real cases. Watch carefully and take notes.”
