“Screw this! Who does she think she is, talking like that? Did we mess with her or something?” Eleanor’s eyes were red with anger as she rolled up her sleeves, ready to charge over with Quinna.

Noelle reached out and lightly stopped them.

She lifted her gaze and looked calmly at Hailey, who was a few steps away, wearing that smug expression. Her face showed no emotion, as if she were staring at nothing more than a noisy crow.

“True privilege isn’t about which entrance you use. It’s about having basic decency and manners.” Her tone was flat. “Clearly, Ms. Flynn, you have neither.”

Hailey choked on the words. Her expression twisted. “Watch it!”

“Oh, come on, Hailey.” One of her friends hurried to smooth things over. “Why bother arguing with people like her? It’s beneath you. You’re the Flynn Group’s heiress. Let’s just go in through the VIP entrance and leave these nobodies to keep running their mouths while they stand in line.”

The guards immediately moved, standing on either side and clearing a path for Noelle and her group.

The smug look on Hailey’s face froze, slowly cracking into disbelief.

She stared at Roger–someone even her father treated with courtesy–now standing there, personally welcoming Noelle with unmistakable respect.

Noelle gave Roger a small nod. “Thank you, I appreciate it.”

Then she walked forward calmly. After a couple of steps, she noticed Eleanor and the others still standing there in shock and tugged them along. “Let’s go.”
