Why is Mr. Theodore here?
And looking like that?

Theodore saw Noelle too. A flicker of embarrassment crossed his cloudy eyes. He instinctively tried to turn his face away, shifting as if to stand up and avoid her, but the sharp pain in his ankle forced a muffled groan from him, leaving him frozen in place.
“Mr. Theodore?” Noelle hurried over and crouched down, her gaze landing on his visibly swollen ankle. “Are you okay? Did you twist it?”
“I- I’m fine! Just a small injury, nothing serious!” Theodore stiffened his neck, his voice hard. “I’m still perfectly fine. I can get up on my own!”
As he spoke, he braced his hands on the ground and gritted his teeth, trying to stand, but the moment his foot touched down, he nearly toppled again.
Noelle quickly steadied him. “You came to see Sebastian, didn’t you?”
“Who said I came to see him?” Theodore bristled instantly. “No! Absolutely not! Don’t talk nonsense!”
He sounded even more flustered.
Noelle shook her head with a small smile. Yeah, right.
This grandfather and grandson are really something.
Theodore clearly missed Sebastian but could only come see him in secret. Sebastian clearly wanted to reconcile but didn’t dare disturb him.
After the Menzie massacre, with both of Theodore’s sons gone, he’d spoken too harshly to Sebastian. Neither of them had gotten over it.
Noelle knew this wasn’t something that could be resolved overnight.
But at least she could create an opportunity, a space where they had no choice but to face each other.
‘Let me take you home. It’s close by. You can rest for a bit.”
Home?
Von’t that mean seeing that brat, Sebastian?
No, no, that won’t be necessary!” Theodore waved her off repeatedly.
It’s necessary.” Noelle helped him up.
No need, no need!”
‘I insist.”
‘Fine then! Since you insist, I’ll go. But you invited me, remember!”

Chapter 359 Twisted
Theodore followed Noelle inside with exaggerated pride.

Noelle brought him back to the villa. Gus had just seen her return and happily stepped forward. “Mrs. Menzie, we prepared two new-”
The word “dishes” never made it out.
When he saw Theodore, Gus’s eyes went wide.
“M–Mr. Theodore!”
Gus and the other staff froze, exchanging looks. No one had expected Theodore to appear here.
After all, Theodore and Sebastian had been estranged for over a decade.
Noelle helped the old man into the living room. “Mr. Theodore twisted his ankle. Let him rest here for a bit. Gus, could you bring some ointment for bruises?”
“Y–yes! Of course!”
Gus snapped out of it and hurried off to get the medical kit, his eyes still sneaking glances at the old man.
Theodore sat down on the couch with Noelle’s help, his eyes discreetly scanning the room.
The living room was spacious and bright, the decor simple and understated. Nothing flashy, but it felt warm and lived–in.
On the TV cabinet sat photos of Noelle and Sebastian. In one of them, Sebastian was in casual clothes, his head tilted slightly, smiling with a relaxed, youthful ease–a smile Theodore hadn’t seen on his grandson in a very, very long time.
Theodore stared at the photo for a few seconds, his expression complicated.
That brat… he’s actually living like a normal person here.
Noelle followed his gaze and smiled faintly. “Mr. Theodore, are you looking for Sebastian?”
“Who’s looking for him!” Theodore snapped his eyes away and put on a stern face. “I was looking at the decor. It’s … average.”
Noelle didn’t call him out. She took the ointment from the housekeeper. “Sebastian had something to take care of. He’ll be back later. I’ll take a look at your ankle first.”
Theodore snorted and said nothing, letting Noelle crouch down and carefully examine his ankle, her movements practiced and gentle as she applied the ointment.
Just as Noelle finished treating it and a servant brought over hot coffee, Sebastian finally returned.
He was wearing a dark gray shirt, sleeves casually rolled up, a file still in his hand.
He instinctively looked for Noelle, but the moment his eyes landed on the couch, he stopped short.
