Chapter 360 Dinner
This is just too much, Theodore thought.
Noelle cares more about me than this brat!
Theodore was genuinely upset now. He sprang to his feet.
“I’m fine! Completely fine! I don’t need you two fussing over me! I’m leaving!”
His voice boomed, full of petulant pride, his white beard twitching as he spoke.

As he talked, he limped toward the door, but out of the corner of his eye, he kept sneaking glances at Sebastian, clearly waiting for some kind of reaction.
Sebastian watched his stubborn back in silence for two seconds before saying, “I’ll have Primo drive you home.”
That’s it?
Theodore got even angrier.
Who needs his ride?
That brat has no idea how to talk!
He’s not even trying to keep me.
Noey’s way better at reading the room!
He stopped short and turned around, beard bristling and eyes wide, ready to snap back with something sharp.
Noelle couldn’t help laughing. She stepped forward, her voice light and warm. “It’s already dinnertime. Since you’re here anyway, why don’t you stay and have a simple meal with us? Try our chef’s cooking.”
The “no need” Theodore was about to say got stuck in his throat.
He looked at Noelle’s smiling face, then stole a glance at Sebastian, who still hadn’t changed his expression.
‘Ahem…”
He cleared his throat, straightened his back, lifted his chin, trying to keep his dignified elder persona, though his tone had clearly softened. “Since … since you’re insisting… I suppose I’ll reluctantly stay and eat a little.”
With that, he immediately limped back to the couch and sat down firmly, as if the person who’d just shouted about leaving wasn’t nim at all.
Sebastian simply watched. After so many years apart from Theodore, he honestly didn’t know how to interact with him. He only urned to Gus and said, “Prepare dinner. Add another set of utensils.”
‘Yes, sir.”
Gus fought the urge to laugh and quickly went to make arrangements. Tonight was clearly going to be lively.

News that Theodore had stayed at Sebastian’s villa for several hours quickly reached the Hernandezes.
Royce immediately called Ethan, his tone anxious. “Ethan! I just got word that your grandpa went to Sebastian’s place and stayed there for hours! This is not a good sign. You need to be careful. He’s getting up there in age, and his thoughts are hard to read. What if that kid sweet–talks him…”
On the other end, Ethan’s voice was steady. “Uncle Royce, I know. Don’t worry too much.”
“Don’t worry?” Royce’s voice shot up. “Ethan, now’s not the time to go soft! Who do you think Sebastian is? He clawed his way back from Riverdale and established himself in Kingstowne in no time. Do you think his methods are simple? If he wins over your grandpa, do you think there’ll still be a place for you in the Menzies? You need to do something. You can’t let him get too close to Sebastian!”
Ethan was silent for a moment before replying calmly, “I know what I’m doing.”
Then he hung up.
Royce stared at the busy tone, so angry he almost smashed his phone. “That kid! Why is he so careless about this?”
Beside him, Olivia looked equally worried. “I think Ethan’s too sentimental when it comes to family. Sebastian isn’t someone to underestimate. Before he fully wins over Theodore and returns to the Menzies, we need to act first. Ideally… make it impossible for Theodore to leave the inheritance to anyone at all.”
A sharp glint flashed through her eyes.
Menzie Group.
Ethan ended the call and immediately stood up from his chair.
Greg Menzie, the assistant beside him, straightened instantly.
“Mr. Ethan! Are you going to bring Mr. Theodore back? I’ll call the guys. Strength in numbers!”
Ethan didn’t reply.
He gave Greg a flat look, staring at him for a long moment, a small crease forming between his brows.
“Mr. Ethan, why are you looking at me like that?” Greg practically blushed under the stare.
“Greg, you’ve been with me for a year now. How are you still this stupid? Primo and Duo have worked for Sebastian for ten years. How are they so much smarter than you?”
Ethan shook his head and strode out.
Back at Melrose Manor.
Dinner had just been set on the table.
