Once the Flynn sisters were escorted out, everyone gathered around Noelle, asking anxiously if she’d been frightened, cursing the sisters‘ lack of upbringing, and comforting her for the injustice she’d suffered.

“Noelle, are you alright? Don’t take those ill–mannered girls to heart,” Angus said, his heart aching for her.
