Annelise saw through their fake act, but it did not stop her from getting back at Clara at all. She picked up a heavy stone and said, “Since Clara has admitted to it, I shall proceed with my revenge.”

As she spoke, she walked over, raised the stone, and slammed it against Clara’s head while she kneeled.

“Ah!” Blood immediately flowed from Clara’s forehead.

Clara’s mates panicked at the sight of their matriarch being hurt and rushed forward to attack Annelise.

Just then, Evan and Adrian hurried over to shield her.
