Reborn heiress on a scumbag hunt novel Chapter 37

Chapter 37

Yolanda’s expression soured at the remark.

“Since it’s all just a misunderstanding, let’s leave it at that. Everyone, go back to your rooms. I’m heading to bed as well,” she said, turning to leave.

But Linda grabbed her arm. “Ms. Scott, don’t you think you owe my student an apology?”

“What?”

“And everyone here owes Louisa an apology too. Her voice was steady but firm. “She was accused without proof. Something like that can stick with her for a long time.”

Yolanda clenched her jaw. Was a trainee lecturer expecting her to apologize to a student?

Cameron cleared his throat. “Ms. Scott, just apologize. After all, Louisa was wrongfully

accused.”

With Cameron, the dorm supervisor, insisting, Yolanda had no choice but to mumble an apology to Louisa before storming off. After Yolanda apologized, the other students followed suit, apologizing one by one.

In the end, only Felicia was left. With everyone watching, she swallowed her resentment and forced out a few words before storming off in anger.

The crowd gradually dispersed.

Cameron was headed downstairs when he spotted Samson speaking with an important guest on the main campus walkway.

Seeing a large group of students leaving the dorms so late, Samson frowned slightly and quietly asked what had happened. Cameron gave brief summary.

The name “Louisa Lowe” drifted casually into the guest’s ears. His handsome face turned grim, and his cold gaze followed Yolanda as she walked away.

Yolanda’s heart skipped a beat. A handsome man was looking right at her. She thought of greeting him, but he had already shifted his gaze elsewhere.

Samson waved at Cameron to leave, clearly frustrated that this drama had unfolded while a VIP was visiting.

“Wait.”

The deep, cold voice carried a sharp edge and was brimming with authority.

Cameron froze, unable to move.

“If this just gets swept under the rug, does that mean lecturers and other faculty staff can humiliate students whenever they please?” His tone was icy and unyielding.

Cameron quickly nodded. “Mr. Hayes, I understand. I’ll make sure this is handled properly.”

“And…” Jasper’s voice was calm but carried undeniable authority.

Cameron listened carefully. He looked momentarily stunned, then nodded without hesitation.

After Cameron left, Jasper turned to Samson. “I agree with the plan you suggested.”

Samson’s eyes lit up.

“Great! That’s wonderful!”

Felicia didn’t return to the dorm that night. Nobody knew where she went.
