Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 569

569 Chapter 569

569.Chapter 569

With everything finally settled, Easton and Sophia’s lives slowly returned to normal.

But both of them were still swamped with work, especially Easton. After Vivian had turned the Menolia branch upside down, he’d had to fly over there three or four times just this past month.

Sophia’s heart ached for him, but she didn’t want to hold him back from his job.

So she decided to wait for him to come home for the New Year this time, but next time he had to go, she’d drop everything and go with him.

That day, Sophia had the day off and was just chilling at home. She hadn’t set foot in her art studio in forever, but on a whim, she wandered up to the third floor alone.

She’d asked the decorators to carve out a space just for her art studio when she first moved in after the wedding. Back then, with Easton always away, this was the spot she spent most of her time at home, other than her bedroom.

Ever since she moved back and patched things up with Easton, Sophia had passed by the studio plenty of times but never stepped inside. Maybe it was because all she could remember was feeling lonely and hurt in there.

Deep down, she just didn’t want to relive any of that.

But now, her mindset was different. Maybe if she faced those old hurts head-on, she’d finally be brave enough to accept a future with Easton.

Sophia opened the door to her studio, finding it absolutely spotless. She knew Easton made sure the staff kept it pristine every single day.

Sophia gazed at the paintings she’d created years ago, and a wave of memories crashed over her. She sat down on the floor, taking her time with each piece, quietly snapping photos of them on her phone, her heart full of nostalgia.

Setting the canvas aside, her eyes landed on a sketchbook that looked oddly familiar. Suddenly, she remembered: it was her college sketchbook.

She’d always thought she’d left it behind at Silvermoon Bay, probably tucked away somewhere by the staff, and over the years, she’d let it slip from her mind.

But now, flipping through its pages, it felt like watching old memories play out on a screen: every scene vivid and alive, replaying in her mind as if it were happening all over again.

Sophia’s heart thumped wildly in her chest. The sketchbook was sitting there, perfectly arranged. She thought,’ Does that mean Easton’s already flipped through it?’

She opened the sketchbook slowly, taking her time to admire each page. Easton had always been good- looking, even as a kid. No wonder half the girls in college had a thing for him.

But honestly, that guy was always sporting a sulky face. Every time he showed up in her drawings, Sophia had to work her magic to make him look all bright and cheerful. Otherwise, he’d just be brooding and moody as usual,

Sophia laughed as she looked through her sketches, but when she turned to the one from their wedding day. she paused for a moment.

It was Easton, all dressed up for the big day in his wedding suit.

She remembered how he’d been in a terrible mood that day. Since he hated the whole arranged marriage thing. he spent the entire ceremony with a scowl.

But when she sketched that moment, she just wanted to make their wedding a little more perfect, so she drew him looking gentle and handsome.

Sophia thought that sketch was the last one in the book, but when she turned the page, she froze in surprise.

There was a drawing of her in her wedding dress.

Easton really had seen her sketchbook after all. On the final page, he had added a sketch of her in her wedding gown, capturing every little smile and expression she wore that day.

Easton, always so reserved, turned out to be surprisingly talented at drawing.

Her tears fell before Sophia realized, smudging the words Easton had written: [Sophia, will you marry me all over again?]

When Easton got back from his business trip in Menolia, Sophia wasn’t there to pick him up. He got into the car and didn’t look too happy. He asked, “Why didn’t Mrs. Foster come to get me today?”

Warren replied seriously, “Mr. Foster, Mrs. Foster said she’s busy with something today.”

Easton frowned, confused. He pulled out his phone and tried calling Sophia, but there was no answer on the other end.

He then called Sophia’s bodyguard. He asked, “Where’s Mrs. Foster right now?”

“Mrs. Foster’s at Jenston University right now,” the bodyguard replied.

Easton thought, ‘Jenston University? What’s Sophia doing there?’

“Warren, drive to Jenston University,” he said.
