Easton pulled the ruby ring out of his pocket and gently slipped it onto Sophia’s finger.

Sophia stared at the ruby ring on her hand, eyes shining. She said, “Wow, this is stunning: a ruby ring worth eight million dollars. Easton, when you went all out to get that ruby back then, was it always meant for me?”

Easton nodded and said, “Of course.”

Sophia stood on her tiptoes and kissed him. She said, “Mr. Foster, I love you.”
