Seeing this, Yvette quickly crouched down to catch her.

"Nola, you look absolutely gorgeous today, like a beautiful little princess straight out of a fairy tale."

Nola shyly buried her face in Yvette's chest, peeking out a few seconds later. "You're really pretty too, Miss Yvette. I like you a lot."

"I like you a lot too, Nola." Yvette looked up at Milton standing behind the little girl and gave him a polite nod of greeting.

Milton nodded back, his gaze shifting from Yvette to Nola. "Go play with the security guard for a bit, okay? Daddy has something to discuss with Miss Yvette."

"Okay." Nola cast a reluctant look at Yvette before slowly letting go of her.

Ever since the last two incidents, Milton made sure to bring a bodyguard whenever he took Nola out, prioritizing her safety above all else.

He could clearly see the confusion in Yvette's eyes; she evidently couldn't fathom what they could possibly have to talk about.

She looked at him with a hint of coldness. After all, his previous attitude toward her had been rather harsh.

"What did you want to talk about, Mr. Graham?"

"As you can see, Nola is very fond of you." Milton's gaze drifted to the little figure not too far away. "If you have the time, I'd appreciate it if you could spend some more time with her."

Yvette looked at him as if he were out of his mind.

Sure, Nola was adorable, but why should she?

"Nola has never known her mother. You're the first young woman she's gotten this close to. Maybe she senses a maternal warmth in you, and she wants to be around you."

"I can compensate you, or you can name your terms. As long as it's within my power, I'll agree to it."

Yvette was slightly taken aback by his words.

She hadn't expected him to go to such lengths for his daughter.

Raising a child was going to be expensive, and she was desperate for money right now. Coupled with the fact that she genuinely adored the little girl, she had no reason to refuse.

"Alright. As for my terms, let me think about it."

Milton nodded. "Are you free this Friday?"

Jabez and his circle were all gathered in the private room.

"Jabez, Yvette mentioned she sent you a divorce agreement. Is that true?" Trent asked.

"It's true." Jabez sat with his long legs crossed, leaning casually against the back of the sofa.

Willow's eyes lit up, a thrill of excitement coursing through her.

"But her demands are a bit excessive," Jabez said, his expression completely unreadable.

Trent and Willow exchanged a look that clearly said, *I knew it*.

Milton sat quietly, just listening.

"How excessive?" Trent asked curiously.

Even though Jabez didn't have feelings for Yvette, they all knew he had never mistreated her financially.
