Restoring a Life After Seven Years of Wrong Love novel Chapter 152

"Ms. Yeats, I've decided to be your mother's lead surgeon," Dr. Walder's voice rang through the hospital room.

A flash of wild relief sparked in Yvette's dark eyes, and she immediately pushed her legs up to stand.

Willow wasn't about to let Yvette get what she wanted. She slammed her hands down hard on Yvette's shoulders, trying to force her to her knees.

But Yvette was already reacting. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and violently knocked Willow's hands away.

Shooting her a death glare, Yvette hurried over to Dr. Walder.

Willow ran after her, blocking the doorway with her body. "Dr. Walder, you promised Jabez you would operate on my grandmother!"

"You're going back on your word! Are you trying to make an enemy out of him?"

Hearing her shrill reprimand, Dr. Walder's face darkened.

He was highly respected in the medical community. Since when did some nobody have the right to point fingers at him?

"Whatever business I have with Mr. Shelby is none of your concern," Dr. Walder said, his voice laced with anger.

Enid gasped in panic.

Even if she couldn't get Dr. Walder to do her surgery today, they absolutely could not afford to offend him.

If anything went wrong with her health in the future, she might need him to design a treatment plan or perform an operation.

With Willow disrespecting Dr. Walder like this, what would happen to her life?

"Dr. Walder, Willow is young and foolish. Please don't take it to heart," Enid said, wearing a deeply apologetic expression. "Please, go right ahead with your work."

Yvette understood Enid's thought process perfectly.

Everyone got sick eventually, whether it was a minor ailment or a major crisis. Offending a top doctor was like gambling with your own life.

"Let's go, Dr. Walder."

Yvette grabbed his sleeve and broke into a light jog toward the operating rooms.

"Lance, look! Is that Yvette and Dr. Walder?"

Joanne spotted them first, her eyes wide with disbelief.

Lance stood up and squinted down the hall as the two figures rushed closer. "Yes! Yes, it is!"

The two of them hugged each other in pure excitement.
