What Barry was suggesting was that she steal Moore Group’s confidential information.

“Hannah… She caught a cold. She’s been asleep for a whole day and night.”

As he talked, he glanced over at Hannah, who was holding a bowl of warm soup and clearly trying to avoid the phone call.

He had taken Hannah’s phone with him yesterday, and after using it, he had turned it off.

But he wasn’t lying: Hannah did have a cold.

She had slept on and off for a day and night, and Skyler had come and gone without her even

noticing.

It wasn’t until that afternoon, when she woke up that she realized her phone was off and Isabella had sent a bunch of messages!

Hannah felt awful about it. After hesitating for a long time, she had finally called Isabella back, but she had lost her nerve and let Skyler take the call and talk for her.

“Is that right?” Isabella felt relieved. “How is she now? Is she feeling any better?”

“Don’t worry, Mommy! Auntie has me here to take care of her!” Skyler unconsciously puffed out his little chest.

She was supposed to be the one taking care of the child for Isabella, but she was a useless

aunt.

“You’re taking care of her?” Isabella’s voice sounded unsure. “Isn’t there anyone else at home to look after her?”

“I’m Auntie’s own nephew! Of course I have to be the first one to take good care of her!”

Skyler’s big eyes darted around as he quickly answered Isabella.
