Peach had just returned home when she saw a man sitting in the living room, casually with one leg crossed over the other, flanked by two men in black. The seated man looked at her with a sinister smile. “Excuse me for intruding.”
“Who are you? And how did you get in?” Peach asked, horrified.
Gray smiled and said, “You don’t need to know who we are. As for how we got in, that’s simple. We’re visiting today primarily because we need your help with a favor.”
Peach looked at him skeptically. “What favor?”
Gray stood up and walked toward Peach. “Where is your father, Leonard? I believe you know, so please tell us.”
“You want to find my father?” Peach asked in surprise.
Gray’s lips curled into a cold, menacing smile. “That’s right. We’d like to ask Leonard for a favor. I assume you won’t refuse, will you?”
Peach narrowed her eyes, looking at the man. She hesitated. “Are you people from Radovia?” She couldn’t think of anyone else who would be looking for her father after all these years. That gang from long ago had also trespassed into their home the same way and taken her mother.
Gray clapped his hands and said slowly, “You are truly bright, Ms. Peach. That’s right. Our boss would like to invite Leonard as a guest. We ask for your cooperation.”
“What if I refuse to tell you?” Peach replied coldly.
Gray smiled wickedly. “Then don’t blame us for being impolite.” He clapped his hands, and a door on the second floor opened. Two people were pushed out, their mouths gagged, their eyes wide with fear as they looked down at Peach, making muffled noises.
Peach stared at the scene, shocked. “How dare you do this?” She never imagined these people would use her son and husband to threaten her.
