Chapter 201 Allen Finally Awakens!

Joanna led the plant to an open area behind the villa, pointing toward a sunny patch of earth. “This area is fairly quiet. I have a team with me, so make sure you never hurt any of them, okay? They are my… family.”
The plant crawled toward the spot, its root-legs sinking comfortably into the rich dirt. Settling its massive frame down, its childlike voice chimed in Joanna’s head. You got it, friend.
Joanna looked helplessly at the monster. One minute it was the scariest plant you would ever see in your life, and the next it was acting like a sleepy puppy sunbathing in the yard.
“I have to go, but I will be back,” Joanna said, stepping backward. “We can talk more then, okay? Just remember, this place is safe from danger, so absolutely no fighting while inside.”
Joanna slipped out of her storage space and instantly teleported back to the high ridge. She materialized to find Raven completely unharmed, sitting on a mossy log and laughing at something Dante was doing.
“The plant is gone,” Joanna interrupted, her voice snapping them both back to attention. “Tell Dante his nests are safe.”
Raven quickly translated. Dante’s glassy black eyes widened, and he let out a series of frantic, high-pitched coos, puffing his chest out in pure adulation and rubbed his head on Joanna’s arm.
“Dante is gushing,” Raven grinned, looking up at Joanna. “He is warmly thanking you for slaying the
monster.”
Joanna offered a tight smile and chose not to correct him. Let the birds think she was a cold-blooded weed killer; it was better for her reputation anyway.
Down below, about ten giant pigeons broke away from the flock, diving into the shallow ravine to check over their recovered nests. Dante turned back to Raven, letting out a final, commanding sequence of clicks.
“The president says the rest of the flock will come with us to deliver the eggs,” Raven translated, her expression turning slightly sheepish. “But it will take a day or two to finish all the eggs.”
Joanna suppressed an irritated groan. The absolute last thing she wanted was a diplomatic entourage of fifty oversized sky-rats hovering over her base, but she couldn’t see a clean way around it.
“Fine,” Joanna sighed. “Tell him I’m heading back now. Our base is only a few miles away. Just have the flock fly west, and I’ll meet them at the front gates.”
With the logistics settled, Joanna grabbed Raven’s hand. She was still feeling deeply uncertain about the secret monster now sunbathing behind her villa, so she decided against sending Raven into her storage space again just yet. Instead, she chose to use a sequence of rapid, manual jumps across the landscape.
Holding the young girl tightly, Joanna warped teleporting rapidly, the upgraded spatial anchor making the multi-mile journey feel like a casual stroll. Within two minutes, the familiar reinforced walls of their base. materialized ahead, and they touched down safely in the main courtyard.
Raven smiled, thrilled to have been so useful today. “I’m going to find my brother and tell him everything!” she cheered, skipping off.

Chapter 204-Allen Finally Awakens!
Joanna stood alone, wondering where to house an entire pigeon federation.
“Hey, boss!” Jolie called out, running across the yard with obvious excitement. “You just got back?”
Right behind her, Allen looked absolutely ecstatic. He yelled, “Boss, guess what?”
Joanna, praying it wasn’t something ridiculous, just stared.
Undeterred, Allen beamed. “I have to show you something!”
Suddenly, a small mound of earth sprang up from the courtyard gravel. Realizing Allen had finally awakened an earth-type ability, Joanna smiled big.

“Great news, Allen!” She leaned in, giving him a big hug. She knew how desperately he had wanted an ability like the rest of the group.
Joanna stepped back. Allen proudly created several more mounds around the yard to show off. “I can even make thick earthen walkways!” he said happily.
Joanna gave him two thumbs up.
Allen was eagerly explaining how he had just awakened this morning, and Jolie chimed in, adding how she had taught him to absorb a zombie core, when Dante suddenly arrived.
The massive, bloated pigeon swooped down from the sky, landing heavily right on top of Allen’s newly formed earth mound. Treating it like his own personal majestic perch, the bird president puffed out his chest, looking incredibly happy as he cooed loudly and proudly.
Jolie and Allen instantly stiffened, their jaws dropping as they stared in absolute shock at the monstrous, regal bird that had just hijacked the celebration.
