Chapter 313 Mr Bubbles The Lord Of Destruction

Finished

Jowna, knowing time was running out, teleported quickly. Knowing the traitor was traveling on the main road, she wasted no time and hopped through space with terrifying speed.

Within moments, she spotted him–riding a motorcycle at high speed down the empty highway. She materialized directly next to him mid–motion and threw a devastating punch, hitting him sideways right off

his bike.

The motorcycle crashed with a loud, metal–rending screech, skidding down the road in a shower of sparks. The traitor went flying through the air, hitting the ground with a sickening crunch. His body rolled and bounced violently across the cold asphalt before finally coming to a halt, groaning in the dirt.

The traitor slowly pushed himself up from the asphalt, groaning loudly as he clutched his cracked ribs with one hand. With a jerky, painful motion, he yanked off his helmet and tossed it aside.

The moment his eyes adjusted to the darkness and locked onto her face, every muscle in his battered body tensed up in pure terror. “It… it’s you!” he choked out, his voice cracking.

Desperate and cornered, he thrust his arm forward and shot a fireball directly at her chest. But the brutal impact of the crash had left him entirely too weak. Instead of a blazing inferno, it was a pathetic, small flame that sputtered weakly through the night air. Joanna didn’t even blink; she simply triggered a short- range jump, teleporting easily to the side and letting the tiny ball of fire fizzle harmlessly into the dark

behind her.

She stepped out of the shadows, her expression cold as she looked down at him.

“Weren’t you going to report me and my team to your superiors?” Joanna asked, her voice dripping with ice.

The traitor’s face paled instantly. “How do you know about that?”

Joanna smirked, easily reading his body language. He was trying to buy time, desperately focusing his energy to conjure up a flame big enough to actually hurt her. Just as she was about to tackle him and put an end to the stall, a large brown ball leaped wildly from the ditch on the side of the road.

The man crashed back down to the asphalt, screaming at the top of his lungs. “What is that! Help! Help me!”

Panicking, he started throwing small fireballs blindly in every direction.

The mutant rabbits are here already? Joanna thought, her brow furrowing. They were supposed to be a quarter–mile down the road. The loud crunch of the motorcycle crash must have drawn them right to their position.

These rabbits were definitely not the cute, furry kind. They were grotesque, mutated monstrosities roughly four times the size of a normal rabbit, with jagged teeth and bloodshot eyes. One of the beasts jumped squarely onto the traitor’s arm and bit down hard on his hand. With a sickening rip, his finger was bitten completely off. The man let out a high–pitched, agonizing shriek.

Joanna’s eyes widened. “Whoa!”

Realizing the situation was turning into a chaotic feeding frenzy, she quickly jumped back into her storage space. Standing in the villa, she called out, “Hey fat cat, come here!”

A few seconds later, Julian opened the bedroom door, and the massive, oversized tabby leaped out into the

a wasted no time. “There are snacks waiting for you outside. Tasty mutant bunnies.”

The cat’s eyes lit up. He growled, a low, rumbling sound vibrating in his heavy chest. “Yes, nice lady. I like rabbits.” He slow–motion licked his whiskers.

Julian grumbled from the doorway, crossing his arms. “You better not let them get anywhere near Joanna, you fat fleabag!”

The tabby went rigid, his ears flattening as he sniffed the air aggressively. “I am the Lord of Destruction, not a fat fleabag!” the tabby growled back, his voice dripping with ancient, dark malice.

Joanna paused, her brain completely stalling out mid–crisis. Really?! Who on earth names their cat that? She looked at the giant beast hesitantly. “Your owner gave you that name?”
