“What’s inside all of these?” Jake asked. “More supplies?”

“They’re completely empty right now,” Joanna replied, walking up to the nearest row of shipping containers. “We’re going to use them to drop temporary safe houses on the route to Evercrest, and eventually stack them to build fortified housing at our main base. In my past… before, I could barely fit a single one of these inside my space. The mental strain hurt terribly, and it took me days to recover. My plan is to raid the city harbor the day the apocalypse begins. Amidst the chaos, I want to swoop in, pull dozens of fully loaded cargo containers straight into my dimension, and get out in minutes. But I needed a wider canvas.”
Jake nodded, realizing the staggering tactical advantage. “But if a container crippled your storage space last time, how are you going to load all fifty of these?”
“The uncut jade,” Joanna said, a triumphant spark in her eye. “It completely expanded and rounded out my dimension’s boundaries. I picked it up in Felton right before I met you. We’re here today to test the new limits. I need you on standby in case I suffer another mental backlash. If I pass out, get me back to Jolie. Now, stand back.”
Joanna closed her eyes. With a swift flick of her wrist, a pristine bottle of clear spring water materialized out of thin air into her palm. Even though Jake had witnessed her spatial tricks a few times now, the sudden manipulation of reality still made him blink.
“This is my spiritual spring water,” Joanna explained, handing it to him. “It rapidly restores stamina and carries intense healing properties. If I collapse or start bleeding, force me to drink this immediately.”
Jake unscrewed the cap and took a cautious sip. The water tasted impossibly crisp, and a sudden, electric wave of vitality surged through his muscles, wiping away the lingering fatigue from their morning workout. “So that’s why we haven’t been wasting warehouse space stockpiling thousands of gallons of water,” Jake murmured, utterly amazed. “It tastes incredibly clean. My energy feels completely restored.”
“Exactly,” Joanna smiled, turning back to the metal shipping contains. She locked her eyes onto the first shipping container, projecting her consciousness inside her vast, upgraded bubble dimension, mapping out a perfect spot right next to her fields.
Move.
With a sharp, atmospheric pop, the massive multi-ton steel container vanished from the warehouse floor.
Jake went completely speechless, staring at the empty concrete.
Joanna let out a wild, ecstatic laugh, her head perfectly clear. “Yes! It worked perfectly! No

To test her speed, she instantly willed the container back into reality, making Jake jump as the massive steel box materialized right back where it had started. For the next thirty minutes, Joanna pushed her limits. She practiced sweeping multiple targets at once, discovering she could now grab ten shipping containers simultaneously, effortlessly teleporting and stacking them like building blocks inside her space.
By the end of the session, she calculated she could vacuum up all fifty containers in under a minute, leaving the rest of her vast inner fields wide open for farming.
Satisfied, she snapped all fifty containers back onto the warehouse floor and turned to Jake. He was standing there entirely dazed, his military mind struggling to compute the sheer, god-like logistics of what he had just witnessed.
“That was absolutely insane…” Jake breathed.
Joanna grinned, the absolute certainty of their survival settling deep into her chest. “That’s just the beginning. I am going to leave these containers in your hands. I’m leaving town for a bit to secure the properties along our route to Evercrest, and I want you to oversee turning these empty hulls into tactical shelters.”
