The account hack scandal was at its most chaotic, and Starlight Entertainment wanted to squash the drama right away, but it wasn’t that simple.

Just as Alicia expected, she was trending on X again.

By now, fans from all camps, casual onlookers, and even Alicia’s haters were all clicking on the audio to listen.

After listening, everyone had the same reaction. Is Alicia’s agent really taking us for fools?

Immature: [I can’t believe the plot twist happened so fast.]

LUV: [I knew it. In showbiz, nothing is ever settled until it’s over.]

Izzyink: [Sorry, I take back what I said about Alicia. That was harsh.]

Simp4: [After listening to the audio, I actually feel pretty bad for Alicia.]

Betches: [Does her agent hate her so much? And her company too. Do they have any decency at all?]

Mmeo: [From the audio, Alicia’s mom once helped her agent, but the agent totally turned on her.]

GLOSS: [Her agent is the ultimate backstabber.]

Lollipop: [Her agent is so bad.]

Juju: [No wonder Starlight never steps in to do damage control whenever Alicia gets roasted online. Turns out it was all intentional.]

Peachy: [No wonder the other four members of LUMIA always play the victim, dropping hints that Alicia bullied them or stole their spotlight, just to win sympathy from fans. They’ve totally cracked the code for going viral.]

By now, netizens had become pros at spotting drama.

But the fans of the other four LUMIA members were quick to fire back.

Itsmej: [What does her agent’s mess have to do with our girls?]

Emilyyy: [If Alicia is really innocent, then why do the other four members of the group all have issues with her?]

Sarrahh: [Yeah, seriously. Why is she the only one who can’t get along with the rest? Maybe she should look in the mirror and figure out what she’s doing wrong.]

Justme: [This is ridiculous. Our four girls are way more popular than Alicia. They don’t need to stoop to this kind of drama.]

Blackrain: [Alicia is just a total deadweight in the group, always holding the other girls back. I don’t buy this

whole being used as a scapegoatthing at all.]

Then, one of the paid trolls jumped in: [Isn’t Alicia being kind of shady by exposing that phone call with her agent?]

Foxx: [What company would ever tolerate someone pulling a move like that?]

Orangejuice: [Is she just trying to get herself kicked out of the industry for good?]

Rivers: [Plus, it’s just a recording. Who knows if it’s even legit?]

Right at that moment, something happened.

Suddenly, someone left a comment: [Quick, go check it out. The cops really showed up at Alexandra’s company to investigate her for spreading rumors and defamation.]

Earlier, Alicia had told everyone to just wait and see if the cops would actually go after Alexandra.

Some paparazzi, just in case it was true, staked out Alexandra’s company.

To their surprise, they actually caught it happening and broke the news right away.

Now, everyone was convinced the audio wasn’t just some fake drama. It was the real deal.

After all, Alicia wasn’t just all talk. She actually made it happen.

This proved her account hadn’t been hacked at all; her agent was behind the whole mess, trying to throw her under the bus.

Alexandra never thought Alicia would play hardball and actually went to the police and reported her.

When the cops showed up at her company to investigate her for spreading rumors and defamation, she was completely thrown off.

On top of that, she got a legal notice from Alicia’s lawyer. It looked like Alicia was dead serious about taking her to court for defamation.

After the cops left, Alexandra turned to her agent, panic in her eyes. What are we supposed to do now?

Why is Alicia’s agent such a screwup? If it weren’t for her, I never would’ve posted those X updates.

Her agent was just as lost. Then she got a call from the higherups at the company.

After hanging up, she looked at Alexandra. They want you to delete those two posts on X. If you don’t, it’s going to look really bad for you.

Spreading rumors and defamation was illegal, and if it was true, Alexandra’s posts were now straightup evidence against her.

Most people were just piling on in the comments, but Alexandra was the only one who tagged Alicia directly and called her out. As a public figure, that was a really bad look.

Alexandra’s face turned sour. If I delete those posts, won’t that just make me the bad guy?

She’d been laughing at Alicia’s misery when her agent threw her under the bus, and everyone kept roasting her online. She never thought the tables would turn on her this fast.

Now, she was really feeling the burn.

Her agent shrugged, exasperated. What else can you do? You want to end up in jail?

The company wants you to delete those posts. Then PR will talk to Starlight Entertainment and see if Alicia will agree to settle privately and drop the charges.

Alexandra didn’t want to go to jail, so she gritted her teeth. Fine, I’ll delete them.

As soon as she deleted her posts, the internet crowd noticed instantly.

The hashtag AlexandraDeleted HerPostsshot straight to the top of the trending topics.

She’d never hit the trending list this fast by her own actions before, but now, she wanted nothing more than to disappear from it.

Benhere: [Didn’t she just act all bold and say she’d wait it out? Why’d she suddenly delete her posts?]

kindatired: [Another twist! This just keeps getting juicier.]

Stilltrying: [Alexandra really folded fast.]

Almostdone: [Looks like she really did spread rumors and defame Alicia. As a public figure, posting stuff without even checking the facts is just not cool.]

Notfocused: [Turns out being a simp isn’t as easy as it looks.]

User8192: [So does this prove Alicia was innocent all along? She got dragged so hard for that whole identity mess before.]

Carrot: [I always thought it was weird. It wasn’t even that big of a deal, but it blew up so fast.

Alexonline: [All those people who kept dragging her just wouldn’t let up. Turns out she was really being targeted all along.

Mattaway: [Starlight and her agent are such snakes. Poor Alicia really can’t catch a break!

Alexandra’s actions got her roasted by everyone, with tons of people starting to feel sorry for Alicia and even switching sides.

At the same time, Alicia finally got the call she’d been waiting for.

After hanging up, she threw on a hat and mask and drove straight to Lucent Media

When she arrived downstairs, she called the person who’d reached out to her earlier.

Soon, a man in his thirties, looking every bit the corporate elite, came over to greet her. Ms. Delaney, this way, please.

Alicia followed him into the private elevator.

Inside the elevator, Jackson Logan secretly sized Alicia up.

He just couldn’t figure out why his boss would personally receive a celebrity who was basically public enemy number one online.

When Jackson reached out to Alicia, she wasn’t surprised at all. She even requested to meet with his boss, Jason Farrell, herself.

What really blew Jackson’s mind was that his boss actually agreed, even pushing back his video conference just for her.

Alicia let Jackson size her up, completely unfazed.

This guy was Jason’s executive assistant, and she’d interacted with him quite a bit in her past life.

She knew that while he came off as a highpowered professional, deep down, he was a total gossip.

When they reached the largest office on the top floor, Jackson knocked on the door.

From inside, a deep, smooth male voice said, Come in.

After Alicia walked in, Jackson discreetly excused himself and closed the door.

As soon as she walked in, Alicia saw a man in a wheelchair by the floortoceiling windows.

He wore a plain white shirt and black slacks, his looks strikingly handsome, with a distant vibe.

He looked just in his early twenties, but there was a steady, deep maturity about him that didn’t fit his age. He was hard to figure out.

He glanced at Alicia and motioned for her to sit. Please, have a seat.

Alicia nodded and sat down on the sofa across from him.

She looked at him with a meaningful smile. Hi, long time no see.”

When Alicia was little, her grandpa used to treat Jason’s grandpa.

Jason wasn’t just from the powerful Farrell family. His father’s late wife was actually Nicolas’s aunt.

Thus, they’d crossed paths before.

Back in their teens, Alicia even got into a fight with Jason over Nicolas, and that left some real bad blood between them.
