“It’s done, everything has been put in place,” Dante said, and I nodded.

“Are you sure about this?” he asked me, and I nodded.

I went downstairs so I could oversee everything, and people were busy organizing everything for

“Jade can I talk to you for a second? Alone,” David asked me, and I nodded.

I led the way and took him to Dante’s office.

He looked around, and his eyes landed on the many pictures that were around the room.

He even had one framed of us with Dove and Tom.

His eyes landed on me, and I smiled as I looked at him.

“I am pregnant,” I informed him as I put a protective arm on my belly.

I watched as he looked at my hand and then up at me.

“Why are you telling me all this?” he asked me, and I just shrugged.

“You know that it’s me, don’t you?” he asked me, and I nodded.

He sighed and then looked outside.

“I should have known you would figure it out. You have always been too smart for your own good,”

he said, and I shook my head.

“It was actually Addison that figured it out,” I corrected him, and he looked at me and nodded.

“She is your sister after all, if there is anyone who knows you better than you know yourself, then

it’s her,” I said, and he sighed.

“Because you know, are you going to kill me?” he asked me, and I looked at him and shook my

head.

“I can’t do it, you are my best friend’s younger brother,” I said, and he sighed at this.

“But you do know that if you don’t kill me, then I will have to kill him,” he retorted.

“Or

you can just simply let this go. Let’s just forget about everything that happened. You don’t have to kill anyone,” I retorted, and he looked at me and shook his head.

I looked at David, whose feelings were obviously hurt by this.
