Chapter 152: Sisterhood
Sasha’s pov
I looked at Jade, who was sobbing while looking at the almost-dead David.
I watched as she tried applying pressure to his wound so he wouldn’t bleed out.
“You might be a nurse, little sister, but even you can’t save him from this,” I said, looking at the
dagger.
I have Jade to thank for all of this.
Now, all the power that this brat possessed is mine.
I know that it will probably take a few days for me to actually get a handle on it.
“Please pass on this message to my sister,” David said, and Jade shook her head.
“You can tell her yourself,” she said, and just like that, two omegas walked in.
They helped David and walked away with him.
How on earth did they know to come and get him?
Jade hasn’t made any calls, and she didn’t even call out to anyone.
That is the weird part. I just stabbed her best friend’s younger brother, but she didn’t scream.
She didn’t seem surprised by it at all.
No, it doesn’t matter what her reaction is.
It doesn’t matter because now I have the power that David had.
That brat had all that power but was too soft to do anything with it.
Now I will show her how it is done, and I will take down everyone.
Jade didn’t say anything else and just walked out without a word.
Why? I am trying to let it go, but I can’t do that.
I clearly heard her say that she couldn’t kill him, and she was even sobbing.
She seemed hurt that he was injured, but she doesn’t seem to resent me for it.
Am I just overthinking this whole thing?

“You do know that with all this power I have now, it means you won’t be able to kill me,” I said, and

she stopped.
“So what about it?” she asked me, and I scoffed at this.
I finally understood why she seems to be distant and unaffected.
She is angry and scared, angry that she wasn’t the one who got all that power.
I can feel it, I can feel it surging inside me, and soon enough, I will be able to use it.
Claim
“I will use this power to kill you and your entire family. Shouldn’t you be more concerned about this than that brat?” I asked her, and she sighed.
“Do what you want to do,” she said and then walked off.
I looked at the bloody dagger in my hand, and I felt this anger boil inside me.
She turned her back on me, I won yet again, and yet she is acting like it’s nothing.
She has always done this, always downplayed my achievements like they were nothing.
I walked towards her, but a hand blocked me, and Dante took away the dagger I was holding.
“You were really going to kill your sister?” he asked me, and he let go of
my
hand.
Jade turned around and then looked at Dante.
“So it’s done, huh?” he asked her, and she nodded.
“Everything went according to the plan,” she said, and I looked at them, confused.
“I know it was hard for you,” Dante said, and I scoffed at this.
“You and my sister were also going to kill me. Why is it so wrong when I want to do it?” I asked
them.
Jade looked at me and then smiled at this.
“Had I wanted to kill you, then I would have done it a long time ago,” she said, and then held out her
hand.
“Can we go and have dinner, sister?” she asked me with tears in her eyes.
What the hell is going on here?
Why is she acting so weird right now?
I looked at her hand and then at her.
“You didn’t always hate me, I know that for certain.

The years haven’t been kind to us or our sisterhood. But there was a time when we loved and
cared for each other like sisters,” she said and wiped away a tear.

“What is this? Are you trying to manipulate me so I don’t end your miserable life?” I asked her, and
she sighed.
“Come downstairs with me, we should have lunch together as a family,” she said, walking off with
Dante behind her.
He was still looking at me as if he were worried I would stab her in the back.
Stab her in the back, vile. Why are those words coming to me now?
My uncle called me vile, and so did my sister.
I looked at my hands, which were now covered in blood.
I killed a person with my own bare hands.
Not only that, but I was going to kill my own sister with these hands.
And why do I suddenly care now?
Why is any of this bothering me now?
I have all the power I want now.
It doesn’t matter, but something tells me Jade is planning something.
I went downstairs, and my entire family was there too.
“Please sit down, big sis,” Jane said as she ran to my side.
My cousins and I were raised in the same house.
So we grew up more as siblings rather than just cousins.
So the younger cousins call us big sis.
I looked at the table and everything there was my favourite food.
I looked at the table, and everyone was smiling and chatting like nothing was wrong.
What is wrong with them?
I just killed someone, and it is a person we have known for a long time.
Then why is everyone suddenly acting so weird now?
“Come on, take a few bites,” Mom said, and I looked at the food.
