Chapter 115
Austin lifted his chin defiantly and looked at his father. “Dad, I didn’t…”
Killian cut him off, “Apologize.”
Austin protested. “I wanted to punch her. I didn’t mean to push her into the lake.”
Killian’s voice turned cold. “Austin, don’t make me say it a third time.”
No one listened to Austin’s explanation, and no one stood up to defend him.
The only person who truly loved and respected him was Calista. Still, he had pushed her away with his own hands, severing that maternal bond.
Austin had no choice but to give in. “I’m sorry.”
Olivia felt something heavy settle in her chest, but she
couldn’t find the words to describe it. She looked at Austin and spoke gently, “Austin, I can forgive you. But you can’t keep making the same mistakes.”

Austin lowered his head and said nothing. He wondered if he was really wrong. If he had chosen Calista back then, would things be different now? He looked up at Calista.
Olivia and Evander turned to look at her, too. Whether she would forgive Austin and how to handle this situation was entirely up to her.
Calista pulled Olivia into a protective embrace and then looked at Austin with cold, detached eyes. “This is the first time and the last time.”
A flood of emotions washed over Austin, and he closed his eyes.
Callum watched the tense standoff and decided it was
time to take control of the situation. He turned to Evander. “Evander, I’ve already called an ambulance. Let’s get you to the hospital to get that wound treated. Olivia, you should go get checked out too.”
Evander and Olivia both nodded.
Callum then turned his attention to Killian. “Mr. Frost, your son caused this incident, so I expect you to see this

through to the end.”
Killian responded with a cold grunt of acknowledgment.
Austin touched his wound and waited, but no one asked
if he was hurt or if it hurt.
Callum turned to the guests and said, “Everyone, sorry about the unexpected incident tonight. We’ve prepared desserts and coffee in the banquet hall, so please head over and help yourselves. I’d appreciate it if you could keep tonight’s events quiet and not spread this around, so our families don’t worry.”
He handled everything with grace and thought of every detail, so he quickly arranged everything that needed to be done.
The guests respected him and nodded in agreement.
Fiona stood there and watched Callum handle everything with such maturity and control, and she smirked.
When Callum passed by her, she scoffed and said, “You arranged everything for everyone else, but what about
me?”

Callum smiled calmly and said, “Ms. Sullivan, you’re free to do as you please.”
Fiona scoffed and walked away in her heels with her head held high.

Calista and Evander arrived at the hospital, and Killian’s leg still hadn’t healed, so he was limping and struggling to
walk.
Austin didn’t have much patience and supported him, but
walked fast.
Killian couldn’t take it anymore and stopped, then shouted, “Calista, come help me.”
Calista looked back in confusion.
Killian said, “I can barely walk.”
Calista thought he was ridiculous because they were
divorced, but he still wanted to treat her like his personal
servant.

She said, “You can hire a nurse or call that young Ms. Anderson to come help you.”
After she said that, she gently took Evander’s uninjured arm and walked away without looking back.
Evander turned his head back for a moment, and a smile curved his lips as he mouthed words silently to Killian and Austin.
He silently thanked them for being so stupid and giving him every opportunity.
He thanked them for letting him become Calista’s support when she felt helpless.
Austin’s hand tightened around Killian’s arm, and he suddenly looked at his father.
Austin asked, “Dad, can’t you just apologize to Mom?”
Austin’s question shattered Killian’s last bit of patience.
Apologize to Calista? Never.

Calista was deliberately flaunting her relationship right in
front of him.
Killian ordered Austin, “Call Nicole and tell her to come to the hospital!”

At Sullivan Manor, all the guests had left.
The lively birthday celebration had ended smoothly, and the manor had returned to its usual quiet.
Fiona dropped her polite facade and kicked off her heels, then lazily sank onto the sofa.
It was late, and the nanny had already taken the two children to bed.
Serena and Frank had also seen Kristen and Byron off, and now they sat on the other sofa with a lot on their minds.
Serena said, “From what Fiona said, Evander cares so
much about Olivia, so it looks like he won’t marry anyone
