Second Marriage to Mr. Rich (Ned Fletcher) novel Chapter 245

When she noticed the empty room, Angeline turned to the excited Marion and asked, "Where are Alva and Gregory?"

"Oh! Alva's a little excited because it's her first time at the Night Palace, so she dragged Gregory down to have some fun."

Marion pointed out Alva, who was sitting at the bar downstairs, taking a video of the bartender mixing drinks.

"Why didn't you go down as well? I thought you liked young men with abs."

Angeline laughed at Marion.

"Hey, I'm married! As a married woman, I merely want to enjoy some eye candy. If I were to go down and Reese found out… I'd be in trouble!"

Marion's lip curled.

Angeline looked down distractedly at her phone. There was still no message from Sean. When she looked up again, she saw that Ned had appeared out of nowhere and was standing beside Gregory.

Ned had his hands in his pockets, frowning as he spoke to Gregory. He seemed to sense Angeline's stare, and he looked up. Their eyes met.

Gregory looked upstairs, too.

In the flashing, chaotic lights, Ned turned and was about to head upstairs when Alva blocked his path. She seemed to be saying something, and she looked enraged.

Ned pushed Alva aside impatiently, but Gregory was quick enough to catch her. He called out after Ned and pursued him closely together with Alva.

Angeline's lip curled into a slight smile. She wondered if Ned was here to accuse her.

Ingrid and her manager, Linda, have always had a good relationship. Angeline had now gotten Linda put in jail, along with Ingrid's cousin, Tommy.

Ned couldn't stand it when Ingrid cried in front of him.

"Isn't that your ex-husband?"

Marion momentarily stopped taking photos of the fit, handsome men when she saw Ned walking toward them.

She immediately pulled Angeline behind her and said crossly, "Shouldn't an ex-husband be more self-aware? A proper ex-husband should play dead. Why does he look like he wants to come over here to talk to you?"

"Angeline."
