Helen was struck dumb by Danny's statement.
"It's common for people to try and steal credit at work, but I genuinely cannot understand why you would try to compete with our boss! Do you want to throw our boss under the bus to secure yourself a position at Lawson Global? I can't understand that, either! You even said you wanted to talk to our boss, yet she's standing right before you. Do you recognize her?"
Danny spread his hands as he stood beside Angeline.
"My boss wanted both of her companies to work together. This is such a simple matter. Would it really require an outsider to persevere and work hard for it to succeed? Isn't that a complete joke?"
"Alright, stop being cheeky!"
Angeline gestured for Danny to sit back down.
"Let's talk about the partnership. Jamie, hand over the documents concerning the collaboration to the representative of Vitality Biotech."
Asher told Helen, "Ms. Helen, I will truthfully inform Mr. Lawson Senior and the other directors about today's incident. Someone with your character is genuinely not meant to stay in Lawson Global. I will speak on behalf of the chairman.
"Even if you managed to obtain ten percent of the shares through some trickery, you still won't be able to become an executive at Lawson Global. I'm afraid you will not be permitted to enter the Lawson Global building outside of office hours in the future."
Helen's gaze fell on Angeline. She had failed this time because she hadn't known that Angeline was the founder of Vitality Biotech.
However, she would not let Angeline have an easy time.
When Ned had left that day, he had received a call that seemed to be about Vitality Biotech.
"Of course!"
Helen grabbed her assistant's arm and left.
