Second Marriage to Mr. Rich (Ned Fletcher) novel Chapter 331

Fortunately, karma found Tommy well. Angeline made sure that he received the treatment he deserved in prison.

Now that the Yates family was at their end without Ned's protection, every day would feel like torture to Tommy.

Lenny drove Angeline away, and Ned no longer pursued them. He stood exasperated in the rain, letting the rain drench his hair and suit.

He finally picked up his phone after it rang for the sixth time.

As he listened to Trevor ramble on about his conversation with Vitality Biotech Group at the other end of the phone, he croaked, "Apply for bankruptcy."

Trevor paused.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Fletcher, but I don't think I heard you properly. Beg your pardon?"

"You heard me. Begin the bankruptcy proceedings!"

Ned hung up immediately. He thought there was no longer any reason for them to continue struggling.

He'd resorted to giving up because he had no other options. Fletcher Corporation had floundered once before, and they couldn't afford to fail once again. Vitality Biotech Group had them firmly in their hands.

Ned didn't have the heart to plead with Angeline. He also mentioned that he'd do anything for her. Given that he'd broken countless promises with her when he lost his memories, he couldn't and didn't want to break his promises again.

Still, he wasn't going to give up on her. He couldn't alter the damage he'd done to her. Hence, he was willing to endure her revenge if it was the only thing that could satisfy her. He only wished that she could offer him another chance to let him get to know her again once everything was over.

Fletcher Corporation was spiraling into turmoil due to Ned's decision. Although all the employees knew they were on the verge of going bankrupt, there was a slim chance of reconciling with Vitality Biotech Group as long as they could maximize the group's profit.

However, Ned had decided to give up before his employees did. It seemed illogical.
