Sean's desire for Angeline was terrifyingly stronger than he had imagined. He yearned to kiss and touch her skin at every moment of every hour.
He craved her warmth and breath incessantly.
Angeline held the edge of the large desk with one hand and wrapped her other hand around Sean's neck.
Although her body had begun reacting honestly to his kiss, her eyes still shook as she glanced anxiously toward the door. Angeline was afraid that someone would abruptly enter.
With a hand on her face, Sean forcefully turned Angeline toward him.
Forcing her to look at him, he bit down hard on her lips.
"Stay focused," he said in a low tone.
"I'm afraid that someone will enter…" Angeline faltered uneasily.
The scorching heat emitting through the fabric from Sean's sturdy legs caused Angeline to become restless.
"No one can enter my office casually."
Sean took off his glasses. Holding Angeline by the back of her head, he deepened their kiss.
His hands tightened around her waist. Pulling her into his embrace, it was as if he wanted to absorb her into his blood and bones.
Her sweet fragrance filled his lungs. Its scent was intoxicatingly sweet, causing him to lose all sanity.
He didn't think it was enough.
Even when Sean had already robbed Angeline's lungs of oxygen and acquired her all, it still wasn't enough. The blue veins on the hand that held her waist bulged out prominently.
Angeline couldn't withstand it anymore. Her tongue ached, and her heartbeat was about to reach its limit as it pumped painfully against her chest.
Angeline almost blurted out her desire while her mind was still in scrambles. Her face grew a deeper shade of red when she realized the thought that crossed her mind.
Averting her gaze in a hurry, she supported herself against the desk to stand up, only to be pulled down by Sean.
"What do you want to eat?" he asked again gently.
"Do you want to eat at the office, or do you want to have lunch at the apartment?"
Angeline knew his meaning. After all, the apartment they lived in wasn't far from the company. They could always return to eat so long as they informed the housekeeper beforehand to prepare lunch.
But for some reason, Angeline heard an ambiguous tone in Sean's words. She felt that she had changed.
"I've already made plans with Monica to have lunch together just before coming to your office," she replied apologetically.
Angeline was in a hurry to talk to Monica as soon as possible. After all, Scott Incorporated had already begun to review the contract for land No. 3.
