"I do," Sean answered.

Angeline was already starting to show her capabilities.

"There isn't too much space in my heart. I have you, Mom, Granddad, and the kids in there, and my work takes up the rest. Nothing else can fit inside."

Angeline seemed to have grasped the best way to appease Sean.

"I hope you won't forget that the kids and I are waiting for you to return. You're embarking on a journey to get revenge, but please remember to keep yourself safe while you're at it. You know how badly Yasmine wants to live with you. Xavier adores you, too, but just isn't good at expressing himself."

Sean lifted her into his arms, his breathing getting heavy.

She hurriedly wrapped her arms around his neck and said, "The housekeeper's prepared dinner, and I still have some work…"

"That can wait!"

The bedroom door slammed shut behind them.

It was 9:40 pm when Sean left the bedroom, dressed in loungewear after showering. He softly shut the door behind him.

He leaned against the balcony's railing and lit a cigarette as he stared at the lights reflecting off the water in the pool. He blew out a mouthful of smoke.

His and Angeline's imminent separation loomed over him, causing him to be more irritated. The need to constantly have her in his line of sight, the annoyance at the thought of people leering at her, and the desire to always have her attention on him…

Sean knew there was something wrong with him. He bit on his cigarette, allowing the smoke to blur his vision. He couldn't even imagine what his life would be like without Angeline around.

Just then, the doorbell rang. Sean stubbed out the cigarette and headed to the door to answer it. He frowned when he saw from the surveillance camera that Nathaniel and Ned were standing outside.

He knew Nathaniel lived just below them. But he wondered what Ned was doing there. He considered if Ned entered the building with Nathaniel's help.

After some thought, Sean ultimately opened the door. Nathaniel and Ned were surprised to see him standing there in his loungewear.

She was the founder of Vitality Biotech Group and had managed to score a deal with Scott Incorporated shortly after joining Lawson Global. There was no doubting her abilities.

Nathaniel didn't think considering having someone as pretty and capable as Angeline as his wife was out of the question.

"Angie's asleep. You can talk to me about anything."

Sean looked at Nathaniel.

"Fine, fine. I'll go!"

Nathaniel waved a hand and took the elevator down.

Sean didn't invite Ned into the apartment. He kept Ned standing at the door as he stared at him coldly, waiting for him to speak.
