“Ugh, I heard that at Northcity Elementary, some lunatic attacked people with a knife a couple of days ago.”

Dominic frowned when he overheard the conversation. He got out of the car and fixed his gaze on the school entrance.

Moments later, Lilith came hopping over and threw herself into his arms. “Daddy, the teacher praised me today!”

“Really? My Lily is amazing!” Dominic said, giving her a thumbs–up.

Her eyes rolled with mischief, and she grinned. “Then can you reward me with an extra half hour of screen time tonight?”

“Haha, of course…” Dominic laughed, but under her eager stare, his smile turned stern. “Not. Finish your homework properly. After that, you get half an hour at most. One minute more and your butt’s going to regret it!”

She refused to give up. “Then can I have KFC?”

“You only get that once a month. You already had it last time, so not today.”

Lilith’s hopeful expression froze. She turned her head away and puffed out her cheeks. “Daddy is annoying!”

Dominic buckled her seat belt and hummed cheerfully as he started the car and headed toward Luxe Residence.

The drive took less than five minutes, but at the entrance, two striking figures made Dominic frown.

Lilith immediately rolled down the window and waved excitedly. “Mommy! Auntie!”

Isabella and Katherine stood at the gate.

Both sisters were at the height of their beauty, with flawless figures and features so similar they could pass for twins. They drew attention wherever they stood.
