“What am I supposed to confess?” Mandy screamed, her voice hysterical. “My husband is dead. My son is dead too. What else do you want me to confess?”

Dominic sneered. “Then why are you still alive? The one who deserved to die most was you. You killed your husband and murdered your own child for the sake of your lovers. Your crimes are unforgivable.”

Mandy’s pupils quivered as she roared, “You’re talking nonsense. This is slander. I’ll sue you!”

Dominic shook his head. “It seems you won’t give up until you see hell for yourself.”

He turned to Ezra. “May I speak with her alone?”

Ezra fell silent for two seconds. His deep gaze swept over Dominic before he replied, “You may.”

Dominic offered a faint smile. “Alright.”

Two minutes later, Dominic and Mandy stood in a separate room.

Mandy glared at him. “What are you trying to do? Are you trying to frame me?”

“Frame you?” Dominic’s expression hardened, disgust filling his eyes. “Do you know that heaven sees everything people do? If this were ancient times, your crimes would have earned you an excruciating death.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Mandy’s face remained blank.

“You will understand very soon.” Dominic gave a cold laugh, stepped forward, and drew the curtains closed. The room sank into dimness.

He brought his hands together in front of him.

In the next instant, Mandy’s eyes flew wide open, as if she had witnessed the most terrifying sight imaginable.

Her dead husband and son appeared before her. Their faces were twisted, their eyes fixed on her.

The shock plunged Mandy into icy terror. She slid off the chair and collapsed onto the floor, her body limp.

The eerie voices made her whole body shake. A foul stench spread through the room.

Dominic frowned and covered his nose.

Ezra frowned. “What happened?”

fainted.”

Ezra’s cheek twitched. He stepped forward to check her condition. When he confirmed that Mandy had only fainted, he released a quiet sigh of relief.
