After persuading Isabella to let Alexander go earlier, Dominic ignored her attempts to stop him and took a taxi straight back to Luxe Residence.

Later, he drove out to meet Tom, explained the plan, and tossed the plastic ring into a random corner near the hospital.

As long as Tom retrieved the ring, he would be able to appear out of thin air.

Everything that followed no longer involved Dominic.

Even if the police investigated, the case would end as an unsolved mystery. Tom had worn a baseball cap, which prevented surveillance cameras from capturing his face, and no one would ever suspect a dead man. The plastic ring and his hair had already been reduced to ashes in the fire.

The police had no evidence that could cause him trouble.

Still, his final appearance carried deeper implications.

Legally, nothing about him appeared suspicious. But if someone sought revenge for Alexander, their attention would inevitably turn to Dominic. In other words, he could have stayed completely out of it, yet he chose to step into the game himself.

Before he realized it, they had returned to Skyline City.

Tom asked cautiously from the side, “Mr. Fleming, where are we going now?”

Dominic checked the time and saw that it was already three in the morning.

“I’ll go with you to see Leona tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.,” he said.

Tom’s eyes lit up at once, and he nodded eagerly.

After that, Dominic dropped him off near Leona’s place and then drove home.

The moment Dominic stepped out of the elevator, he frowned.

Isabella stood there with a suitcase, staring coldly at Jessica.

Jessica faced her with her arms crossed and a cold smile.
