Chapter 211

Now that Jewel intended to break away from the Garcia Group and start over from scratch, the difficulty increased exponentially.
However, that had nothing to do with him.
Dominic shook his head, walked out of the restroom, and happened to run into Jewel just as she ended her call.
He greeted her politely. “Miss Wright.”
Jewel frowned and snapped irritably, “What are you doing here?”
Dominic froze for a moment, then glanced behind him to confirm that he was indeed standing outside the restroom.
Jewel realized it as well and immediately felt awkward. Embarrassment only worsened her irritation, and she barked, “Hurry up and get back to work!”
Her temper was truly terrible. Dominic shrugged helplessly, chose not to argue, and turned to leave.
At 10:30 a.m., Abigail finally rushed in.
Dominic asked, “Is your husband okay?”
Her eyes dimmed slightly. She forced a smile and replied, “He’s fine. I’m used to it.”
Dominic nodded and did not press further.
Abigail sorted through the product materials and was about to head out when a notification popped up in the company group chat, announcing an all staff meeting in ten minutes.
She had no choice but to stay. She brought Dominic and the rest of Sales Team Gamma to the conference room.
Jewel sat at the front, her expression grim.
The employees barely reacted. They were already accustomed to it.
Although she was strikingly beautiful, she always wore a cold expression. Seeing her smile was a rare occurrence.
JewelMed employed about 50 people in total. More than 30 had already arrived, and Jewel did not bother waiting any longer before starting the meeting.
“All along, we’ve been marketing the Garcia Group’s products,” she said. “I have an announcement today. Starting next month, JewelMed’s contract with the Garcia Group will be terminated. We will no longer sell any Garcia products. Please take note.”
The room fell into stunned silence.
A moment later, hushed discussions broke out.
In sales, a product’s competitiveness directly affected performance. Truly versatile salespeople were rare.
For most people, performance depended on the core strength of the product itself.
When selling the Garcia Group’s products, even the weakest salesperson could close deals because clients respected the Garcia brand.
Now Jewel was announcing that those products would no longer be sold. So what were they supposed to sell instead?
Jewel felt increasingly irritated. She would be busy in the coming days. Whether to invest in her own production or search for new suppliers required careful consideration.
“Quiet!” she shouted sharply.

The room fell silent at once.
She continued impatiently, “Everyone understands the situation. This month, meaning July, is our final collaboration period with the Garcia Group. I want everyone to hold on to your prospective clients and close as many deals as possible before the month ends. That’s all. Meeting adjourned.”
She stood up and left without another word.
