Dominic sat in the pavilion downstairs in the residential area for a long time. His gaze rested on a small white flower in the grass. His eyes looked distant, slightly lost and faintly dazed.

It was the weekend, so she did not go to the office.

Dominic returned to his room, took a shower, and lay down to sleep.

Dominic called Autumn first.

“Autumn, I didn’t sleep last night, so I was catching up on sleep today.”

They chatted casually for a little while before hanging up.
