Isabella shot Katherine a reproachful glance. “Kathy, you’re not allowed to say that kind of thing again. Being blocked doesn’t matter that much right now. The real problem is those women. Jessica, Autumn, and now even Lydia. I can’t fight four hands with two fists. Kathy, you’ve got to help me.”
Katherine’s heart pounded as she asked, “How am I supposed to help you?”
Isabella thought for a moment. “How about you go to Dom’s place and…”
“Okay, I’ll move in tomorrow!” Katherine blurted it out almost without thinking.
She had regretted her hesitation terribly these past few days. If she could do it over, she would definitely choose to stay there, even if it meant shamelessly clinging on.
“Move in? Move where?” Isabella stared at her in shock. “I meant for you to go work at his company!”
“Ah?” Katherine opened her mouth, disappointment flickering across her face.
“You can be JewelMed’s resident livestream host,” Isabella said. “If you go there, he’ll probably be really happy. And more importantly, I’m starting to feel that Jewel isn’t quite right either.”
Isabella did not dwell on it and continued her analysis. “The last time Dom was hospitalized, she stayed in the same ward with him for so long. That old woman must be plotting something against my husband!”
Katherine was momentarily speechless. “Isn’t that a bit much? Does Dominic really have that much charm?”
“He does, absolutely!” Isabella replied with conviction. “That woman is in her 40s or 50s and still single. I feel like she’s a threat too.”
Katherine curled her lips. “She’s at most in her 30s. By the time it gets to you, she’s already 40 or 50. That kind of biased thinking isn’t good.”
“Oh, come on. Don’t get hung up on those details.” Isabella waved her hand dismissively. “Anyway, we absolutely can’t let those women succeed. Kathy, you don’t want to lose such a good brother–in–law either, right?”
Katherine did not know what to think. Her face flushed, and she lowered her head. “Dominic and Lily are both my family. Of course I don’t want to see him with other women.”
“Exactly!” Isabella clapped her hands in delight. “You’re right, Kathy. Your brother–in–law is family too. So you have to help me. If we sisters stand united, all those flirtatious women will have to step aside!”
“Er… okay…”
After Dominic hung up, he mulled it over for a long time. ‘What exactly did Katherine mean?‘
If he thought it through carefully, what was there to overthink?
“Then again, if it were Katherine, Lilith definitely would not object. She might even be genuinely happy.‘ The thought made
Dominic’s heart beat faster.
But several faces surfaced in his mind. The fiery Jessica, the considerate Autumn, and even Jewel.
After a long while, Dominic sighed softly and muttered, “Dominic Fleming, you’re really a damn scumbag.”
No matter whom he chose, regret would follow.
In the end, he stopped thinking about it and went to sleep. Things would sort themselves out when the time came.

The next day, Dominic got up before 7:00 a.m.
After washing up and heading downstairs, he was about to call Brian when he noticed a Maybach parked below.
Surprised, he walked over and saw the window rolled down, with Brian and Max sitting inside.
When they saw Dominic approach, both men quickly got out of the car.
Dominic asked, “You didn’t tell me you stayed here all night, did you?”
Max replied solemnly, “To protect you, Mr. Fleming.”
Dominic’s pupils trembled slightly. He then said with a half–amused smile, “You should sleep at night when it’s time to sleep.”
“Mr. Fleming, we slept in the car!” Brian protested.
Dominic looked at the two young men and felt a stir of emotion. After a few seconds of silence, he smiled. “Looks like I need to give you two a raise.”
