Zachary’s tone turned cautious as he asked carefully, “There should be an outcome tonight. I just want to confirm something After we move against Dominic, the Hale family won’t react, right? After all, Miss Hale and he have a… complicated relationship.
“Complicated?” The other person gave a cold laugh and replied in a casual tone. “Don’t worry. Jessica can’t control the Hale family. This time, they won’t step in to help him. Focus on your task and don’t disappoint me.”
Zachary nodded. “Understood.”
Elsewhere, Isabella sat in her car, her expression clouded with worry.
Dominic’s meaning had been clear. Something was about to happen, and he expected her to stand by and do nothing. She could not accept that. Yet if she intervened, she feared he would be angry.
She felt torn. While waiting at a red light, an idea struck her. She immediately dialed a number.
On the other end, Katherine answered. “Bella, what’s going on?”
“Kathy, I need your help.”
Katherine paused, clearly surprised. “Go on.”
Isabella lowered her voice. “Dom is with that woman, Lydia. Can you keep an eye on them later?”
She did not mention what Dominic had told her. Instead, she added, “That woman isn’t decent. I’m worried she’ll try to seduce my husband.”
Katherine answered without hesitation, “All right. Tell me where they are, and I’ll watch them.”
Isabella hesitated. “Kathy, I mean… if they do anything inappropriate, you have to stop them.”
“No problem.” Katherine cut her off, her tone firm. “Don’t worry.”
After ending the call, Isabella arranged for someone to monitor their movements and send Katherine the address at once if
necessary.
When everything was in place, her expression turned strange.
Something felt wrong.
Isabella had expected Katherine to refuse. Secretly watching Dominic with another woman clearly resembled catching a cheating spouse, and Katherine’s position should not have allowed her to agree so easily.
She could not make sense of it.
As the thought lingered, an absurd suspicion suddenly surfaced, leaving het gasping. ‘Could it be…”
“No, no, that’s impossible!” She shook her head hard, forcing the thought away. ‘My sister never liked my husband. There’s no way. Our bond is strong. She’s just helping me.‘
With that thought, Isabella finally felt calmer.
Her phone rang again.
It was Katherine. “Hey, Bella. I almost forgot. You need to pick up Lily later.”

“Okay,” Isabella replied. She was about to ask a few questions, but Katherine hung up at once, her tone impatient.
Staring at the silent phone, Isabella felt confused and unsettled.

Dominic and Lydia finished their meal.
“Dom, do you have anything planned for this afternoon?” Lydia asked.
“Nothing,” Dominic replied casually. “Why?”
“Then… would you like to watch a movie together?” She looked at him with bright, expectant eyes.
She had to admit it. Dominic was exceptionally handsome. The thought of spending the evening with him made her heart race.
Dominic checked his watch and smiled. “Sure.”
He then drove them to nearby Peacock Plaza, a bustling commercial district on par with Skyline City Plaza.
At the cinema, Lydia went to buy the tickets while Dominic picked up popcorn, drinks, and snacks.
