Chapter 510
Dominic left Jessica’s place and drove straight to the company.
He had promised Katherine that they would pick up Lilith together, and he could not break that promise.
As he approached the building, he spotted a slender figure in a black dress from a distance. She raised her right hand and waved repeatedly. Beside her stood a woman in a white dress, smiling as she watched him approach.
Both women had slender figures and striking beauty that drew immediate attention. Their faces looked remarkably alike, nearly seventy percent similar, giving them the appearance of twin sisters and attracting countless glances.
“Why is she here…” Dominic muttered as he slowly brought the car to a stop in front of them.
Isabella quickly slid into the passenger seat. “Honey, where were you this afternoon? We’ve been waiting here for so long.”
“I had some things to take care of,” Dominic replied.
Katherine glanced at the passenger seat, then quietly climbed into the back. “Alright. Lily’s about to finish school. Let’s go.”
Dominic nodded and started the car.
Isabella looked delighted. “Honey, I already handled things at the company. Since we’re going to Eastmere this time, we can stay a little longer.”
Dominic glanced at her. “We’ll see when the time comes.”
“How annoying,” Isabella pouted. “I already checked. You left everything to Jewel, and you’re not busy. Can’t you indulge me a little?”
Dominic snorted but did not respond.
‘Not kicking you out of the car is already generous,‘ he thought. ‘Let alone indulging you. Impossible.‘
Isabella frowned and turned to her sister, hoping she would speak up for her.
However, Katherine remained focused on her phone as if she had heard nothing. Isabella felt a little discouraged and thought her sister was useless at crucial moments.
Soon, they arrived at Blossom Elementary.
The area was already crowded with parents picking up their children.
Dominic parked the car, and Isabella eagerly leaned toward him. “Honey, I found a coat today. I think it’s perfect for you.”
She showed him her phone.
The screen displayed two coffee–colored trench coats in the same style, clearly a matching set. Each carried a five–digit price tag.
Dominic glanced at the screen and said coldly, “Not interested.”
The excitement drained from Isabella’s face, as if someone had poured cold water over her. Still, she forced a smile. “Honey, I already ordered it. You can just try it on later.”
Dominic stepped out of the car, lit a cigarette, and said calmly, “I can buy my own clothes. I don’t need you trying to butter me up.”
Isabella fell completely silent.
Katherine watched quietly and sighed to herself. ‘Little sister, there’s really no need to insist.‘
Soon the school bell rang.
Dominic quickly spotted Lily among the crowd of children.

The girl saw him as well. Her eyes lit up, and she ran toward him on her small legs, calling out from a distance, “Daddy!”
Dominic stepped forward with a smile and lifted her into his arms.
He had not seen her for several days and had missed her terribly. He kissed her soft cheek, unable to resist. “Lily, did you miss Daddy?”
“Aww, Daddy has a beard!” The girl giggled as Dominic’s stubble tickled her. “I missed you. I missed you the most, Daddy!”
