Once outside, Dominic requested a car from a bodyguard, entered a restaurant address into his phone, and set off using navigation.
Moments earlier, he had coaxed the address of Katherine’s blind date out of Leticia.
“she belongs to me. You think you can go on a blind date? Not a chance,” he muttered.
Meanwhile, at a high–end restaurant….
Katherine stepped out of her car, checked the time, and headed inside.
A man in his early 30s spotted her. His eyes lit up as he hurried over. “Miss Sinclair, over here!”
He wore expensive clothes, looked fairly handsome, and kept his hair meticulously styled.
Katherine offered a faint smile. “You’re Mr. Parker?”
“Yes, my name is Marcus Parker.” He smiled and made a polite gesture for her to enter first.
She walked straight in.
They proceeded one after the other into a private dining room.
After they sat down, Marcus sighed. “Miss Sinclair, you truly live up to your reputation.”
In Eastmere State, the Sinclair sisters were known as the twin beauties, though few people had seen them in person.
Katherine gave a small nod. “Mr. Parker, I should apologize first. I have no plans to get married.”
Marcus froze. ‘Who opens a blind date by declaring no intention to marry? Then why come at all? Is she playing with me? My temper is about to explode- Right, she’s a Sinclair. Let it go.‘
Marcus forced a gentlemanly smile. “That’s fine. Being able to have lunch with you is already an honor. At the very least, we can be friends.”
The Parker family was also a powerful, wealthy household with assets worth billions.
Katherine nodded and was about to speak.
The private room door burst open.
Dominic strode in, and Katherine froze.
Marcus also froze, then snapped, “Who are you?”
Dominic smiled at him. “Buddy, mind letting me use the room for a bit? Please step out for a moment. Thanks.”
Before Marcus could respond, Katherine spoke first. “Why are you here again?”
Her eyes trembled slightly.
Dominic smiled. “Katherine, come home. We can talk properly.”
Katherine gritted her teeth and turned away. “I have nothing to discuss with you.”
Dominic spread his hands. “Then we’ll talk here.”
“Hey!” Marcus finally reacted. He stood and placed a hand on Dominic’s shoulder. “You know Miss Sinclair? Didn’t you hear she doesn’t want this? Get lost.”
Dominic said evenly, “Please take your hand off me. Thank you.”

Marcus hesitated. He had already guessed that Dominic had some kind of relationship with Katherine. But that relationship clearly had problems now. Maybe this was an opportunity to win over one of the Sinclair beauties.
Marcus had no time to think further. He sneered. “As a man, bullying a woman is pretty low–class, don’t you think?”
Dominic glanced at the hand on his shoulder, his gaze turning cold. “So it’s only classy if I bully you?”
Marcus scoffed. “Bully me? That depends on whether you have the Ah!”
Before he could finish, Dominic struck him hard.
Marcus flew backward, hit the floor, slid more than three feet across the smooth tiles, and knocked over several chairs.
Pain shot through his chest, and he cried out.
