She Left She Thrived She’s Worth Billions novel Chapter 1025

Sebastian didn't actually care about the thirty-million-dollar prize.

But as his secretary, Clarice naturally wanted him to take first place.

Furthermore, this was a test of medical knowledge; there was no reason for Sebastian to lose.

Suddenly, Sebastian let out a soft scoff.

"Heh, it's still too early to tell who will have the last laugh."

Hearing that, Clarice's eyes lit up with renewed interest.

"Exactly! There are still a few days left before the deadline. Keep at it, Director. I know you can snatch first place back!"

Seeing his secretary pumping her fists so enthusiastically to cheer him on, Sebastian didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"I wasn't talking about myself..."

"What?"

Clarice tilted her head, thoroughly confused.

Right now, Aria held the number one spot, while Sebastian's ID, 'Optics Obsession,' sat in second.

Even though Aria had overtaken him, Sebastian hadn't stopped answering questions.

He had no interest in the prize money and no obsession with his ranking.

He simply wanted to answer the app's questions to test and expand his own medical knowledge.

Currently, he and the first-place Aria were neck and neck in points.

Many people on the chat forums believed the thirty-million-dollar grand prize would ultimately go to either him or Aria.

However...

Sebastian had noticed someone else.

"Him..."

Following where Sebastian was pointing, Clarice spotted a specific ID.

This user was currently ranked ninth on the leaderboard.

"...Schrödinger's Pill?"

"Is it confirmed that 'Optics Obsession' is Director York?"

"Without a doubt!"

"Well, then he isn't all that great, is he? He couldn't even beat this Aria Royce."

"Aria Royce... Why does that name sound so familiar?"

"Don't talk trash about Director York, or the York family might make you disappear!"

"The deadline hasn't even hit yet! Director York could still make a comeback!"

"Honestly though, registering this late puts 'Schrödinger's Pill' at a huge disadvantage."

"They're just here for the thirty million. They didn't show up when it was only three hundred thousand."

"If they have the skills to win the money, they can join whenever they want."

"They're only ninth right now. It gets harder to rank up the higher you go. We'll see about those skills!"

The forum was ablaze with rapid-fire debates, with some even suggesting they start a poll to see who everyone thought would ultimately take home the massive thirty-million-dollar prize.
