She Walked Away With His Twins While He Begged the Ground She Walked On novel Chapter 206

Quinn took the fabric. Seeing the scarf she had lovingly knitted for her daughter treated like a dirty rag, soaked in sticky tomato juice, the world began to spin.

It felt like all the oxygen had been sucked from the room. A suffocating wave of despair pulled her under, and she couldn't break free.

She swayed unsteadily on her feet before her vision went completely black, the emotional trauma sending her crashing to the floor.

"Ma'am!" Tristan shouted in panic.

...

Dr. Zachary Wells was summoned to Regency Bay once again. Seeing Quinn's deathly pale face, a heavy knot formed in his chest. With a dark expression, he marched up to the second floor.

Entering the study, he didn't say a word. He just stood there, glaring at Miles with utter condemnation.

Miles looked up. "If you have something to say, say it. Why are you staring at me?"

Zachary began pacing the room. "Do you even realize how many times I've been called to this house this month?"

Miles pinched the bridge of his nose, visibly irritated. "How is she?"

"Oh, so you actually care enough to ask?"

Zachary had come up here to interrogate him, not to give a medical update. The fact that Miles asked first surprised him.

Miles ignored the sarcastic tone, his face returning to its usual aristocratic indifference.

Zachary scoffed coldly. "If you can't treat her right, just end it with her. I told you this last time."

Miles frowned, clearly annoyed by the intrusion.

"This is my personal life, Zachary."

Zachary noticed the red teeth marks on his hand. "Is that... from her?"

Miles's face darkened. He shifted his hand out of sight and remained silent.

"I hit the nail on the head, didn't I?"

When Miles refused to answer, Zachary knew he was right.

A surprising glint of amusement—almost satisfaction—flashed in the doctor's eyes.
