She Walked Away With His Twins While He Begged the Ground She Walked On novel Chapter 294

Quinn emerged from her room, saw Miles seated at the dining table, and walked over calmly.

Gail brought the dishes out one by one. The two sat opposite each other in complete silence, quietly eating their meal.

Quinn's phone chimed. It was a photo from Luna, followed by a voice message sent from Yara's phone. Her sweet, childish voice chirped, "Mommy, it's dinner time! Are you eating too?"

Hearing Luna's voice filled Miles with a sudden, overwhelming sense of warmth. "Is that the little wild child, Luna?"

Quinn gave a soft hum. "Yes."

Miles wrestled with how to bring up the idea of helping pick out a kindergarten for Luna.

Ever since his failed attempt to become her godfather, he felt a widening distance between them. Over the last two days, he had tried calling the little girl, but she had been reluctant to answer.

That had temporarily crushed his desire to call her. But now, seeing Quinn willing to exchange a few words with him, he desperately wanted to see Luna again.

He put down his chopsticks and elegantly wiped his lips. "Have you found a kindergarten for Luna and her little cousin yet?"

Thinking of how he had saved her life the night before, Quinn's tone was much softer than usual. "Not yet, but we're looking."

She and Yara had planned to tour a few this week, but Yara had a sudden business trip.

Ethan had offered to go with her, arguing that picking a kindergarten required both parents to be present.

She was still debating whether to let Ethan tag along. After all, he was just a fake husband she had hired to act as the kids' father and shut down the neighborhood gossip.

Miles offered casually, "If Yara is fine with it, I can help find a top-tier kindergarten for Luna and her nephew."

In the past, Quinn would have rejected him without a second thought. But, bound by the debt of him saving her, she couldn't bring herself to shut him down immediately.
