Quinn waited outside York Plaza and watched Miles and Jade walk out together.

They looked like a loving couple heading home from work, with everyone lowering their heads and stepping aside respectfully as they passed.

Miles seemed to catch a glimpse of a familiar silhouette out of the corner of his eye near the wall.

He paused midway through getting into the car. Seeing him look in her direction, Quinn quickly ducked out of sight, not wanting to be discovered.

"Miles, what are you looking at?"

Miles assumed he was just seeing things. That woman had left ages ago; why would she be waiting for him outside the company?

He calmly withdrew his gaze and got into the car with Jade.

Once the Bentley drove off, Quinn finally stepped out from behind the corner.

People were coming and going from the entrance, but she still hadn't seen Wayne.

She wondered if he had driven off from the parking garage.

But she vaguely remembered Wayne mentioning a few days ago that he hadn't bought a car yet, saying that taking the subway to work saved him both time and distance. She assumed he hadn't driven today.
