She Walked Away With His Twins While He Begged the Ground She Walked On novel Chapter 480

Without giving Miles a chance to respond, she turned and walked back to her room.

Miles knew exactly why she was doing this. She was refusing to let Luna stay over because Leo had ruined the room.

Tristan Vance was waiting outside to take him to the office, but a heavy frustration sat squarely in Miles's chest. He slammed the car door shut and went back inside to find Quinn.

Quinn was in her room, packing a few things. The birthday banquet was in a few days, and she wanted to get organized early.

Miles knocked on the door. "Quinn, let's talk."

"About what?"

He closed the door behind him, his tone low and composed. "Leo ruined the nursery, but I'll have it redone. Tomorrow, I'll personally go to Fairview Apartments to pick up Luna and her cousin so they can stay here. Then, the day after, we can all head to the main estate together."

Quinn honestly had no idea how he even had the nerve to bring this up to her.

"Miles, I already told you. Luna isn't coming to Regency Bay. If you try to force it, then she and Caleb won't be going to the party either."

It wasn't just about the room. It was the fact that Jade and her son were still living under the same roof.

She was terrified that Leo would bully Luna. That kid was far too calculating.

He had purposefully destroyed the room to keep Luna out, yet somehow managed to play the victim.

Both of her children were sweet and innocent. She wasn't about to let them stay here, even for one night, if there was a chance they'd get hurt.

It wasn't like Leo hadn't pushed Luna down a slide before, causing her to hit her head. And even then, Miles had brushed it off as an accident.

She would never put her babies in danger knowing exactly what was waiting for them.

"Quinn, are you doing this just because Leo messed up the room? If that's it, I'll give up the master bedroom. You and Luna can take the main suite, and I'll sleep in the guest room."

"No."

"Then what is it?"
