She Walked Away With His Twins While He Begged the Ground She Walked On novel Chapter 485

Luna took the freshly peeled Snow-Cream Banana from Miles and handed it to her mother.

Quinn took a small bite. It was juicy, sweet, and incredibly smooth.

It carried a faint, creamy aroma with almost zero acidity.

No wonder Luna loved it so much. Caleb had eaten one and immediately saved the rest for his sister.

"Luna, I need to grind my teeth. I want nuts."

Miles immediately zeroed in on his dental health. "Are you losing your baby teeth?"

Quinn shot him a look. "Kids don't start losing their baby teeth until they're five or six."

Miles looked mildly surprised. "How do you know that?"

Quinn lowered her eyes, cutting off his gaze. "Yara is always busy, so I'm usually the one taking care of them. I didn't know what I was doing at first, so I read a lot of articles online."

She had been playing the role of both mother and father for years; of course she knew everything.

"Caleb, do your gums feel sore? Do you feel like you need to chew on something?"

"Yes, Quinn," Caleb replied. "I want to bite something hard."

Miles looked concerned. "Itchy gums? Nuts won't work. They're too hard. They'll hurt your gums and you could choke on them."

Quinn thought about the teething snacks she had stocked up on back at her apartment, but they had been forced into Regency Bay with nothing.

She didn't have anything prepared. She couldn't help but shoot Miles a subtle, blaming glare.

"Caleb, you need those special teething snacks. Don't chew on nuts."

Miles immediately stood up. "I'll... call Hunter. I'll have him bring some over."

After hanging up the phone, he sat back down at the dining table, even pushing a multinational conference call to the evening.

He sat there, watching the kids eat their cheese and pastries, drowning in this rare, domestic bliss.

The scene was joyful and unbelievably cozy.
