She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 904

Lanny lifted his tear-streaked face, met Gigi's red eyes, and shouted, "I'm sorry, Gigi! I shouldn't have said you don't have a dad! And I shouldn't have called your mom a tramp!"

Gigi gave a small, quiet nod.

Clenching her jaw, Miranda marched up to Giselle. Her lips trembled violently before she finally forced the words out.

"I am sorry, Ms. Turner."

Giselle just looked at her, offering no "it's okay" in return.

Standing up straight, Miranda yanked Lanny by the hand so hard the boy let out another wail. She stormed to the door but stopped abruptly, turning back to glare at Giselle with pure, toxic hatred.

She took a step back toward her.

"I'll remember the humiliation you put me through today," she hissed, her voice so low only Giselle could hear. "My husband is at Peak Capital. Do you have any idea who he knows? You think you can take me on? Just wait. I won't let you get away with this."

Dragging her crying son, she clattered down the hallway in her heels. The sound of Lanny's sobs and her harsh scolding faded into the distance.

Ms. Windsor looked at Giselle with concern, wanting to say something, but the principal spoke first.

"Ms. Turner, please rest assured that our school will never tolerate favoritism. Moving forward, we will be much stricter about monitoring the children's behavior and speech. I am deeply sorry for the trouble caused today."

To the absolute shock of the teachers in the room, the principal then gave Giselle a deep, respectful bow.

Giselle quickly reached out to stop him. "Knowing you care this much puts my mind at ease, Mr. Sutton. Thank you for standing up for my daughter today."

After a brief, polite exchange, Giselle led Gigi out of the office.

Watching them leave, Ms. Windsor tentatively asked, "I've never seen you act so deferential to a parent before. Is there something special about Gigi's mother?"

Mr. Sutton’s tone was grave. "That child belongs to the Lonsdale family."

The teacher froze. "The Lonsdales?"

"How many Lonsdale families do you think matter in Metropia?"

Ms. Windsor gasped. "My god... the wealthiest family in the country? But... I've never heard anything about this, and Ms. Turner just seems like a regular single mom!"

"The private lives of billionaires aren't for people like us to gossip about," Mr. Sutton warned. "This entire school was secretly bought by Mr. Lonsdale specifically for Gigi. This is her personal sanctuary. Remember this: under no circumstances are they to be offended. Treat them with the utmost care."

The other teachers nodded fervently, their minds reeling.
