"Didn't you just start dating some D-list actress?" Maddie frowned.
"Yeah, so I want to make her a little jealous."
Leo grabbed a random passerby and begged them to take the photo.
Maddie rolled her eyes but obliged, striking a pose. Once the picture was taken and the passerby left, she couldn't help but criticize, "That actress isn't nearly as pretty as Josie Somerset."
"Josie is an A-lister now. There's no way I could afford to date her," Leo sighed dramatically. "My allowance only covers the minor leagues."
On the drive back, it was Lyra's turn behind the wheel.
Leo took the passenger seat, while Maddie fell asleep in the back again. Leo marveled at how she could sleep so much. Bored out of his mind, he posted to his feed.
He uploaded the photo of the three of them.
Unsurprisingly, the picture of him flanked by two gorgeous women racked up likes in record time.
Back at his penthouse, Rowan had just finished a shower. Wearing a loosely tied robe, he dried his damp hair with a towel while casually scrolling through his social media feed.
His casual glance suddenly locked onto the screen.
In the photo, Lyra stood by a stone bridge in the historic town, a stream and dark-tiled roofs behind her. The wind caught the loose strands of her hair as she smiled brightly. The sunlight danced across her radiant complexion, highlighting the breathtaking curves of her lips. She looked effortlessly captivating.
It was obvious she was having a wonderful time.
Without realizing it, he stopped drying his hair.
[Where are you?]
Leo nearly dropped his phone when Rowan sent him a message.
Sitting bolt upright, he replied eagerly: [At Willow Creek Historic Town.]
Worried he might not know the place, Leo quickly searched for some info online and forwarded it.
Then, he tentatively asked, [Do you want to come, bro?]
Rowan: [No.]
Leo figured as much. He was probably just asking casually.
Besides, they were already heading back.
If he wasn't coming, he wasn't coming.
Otherwise, he'd have to escort the VIP on a second tour of the town.
