Grandma Ford thought Thomas made an excellent point. Her cloudy eyes brightened as she looked expectantly at Finn Ford.

Finn paused, tightening his grip on his fork. "I'm not going. The pressure of working for Rowan would be suffocating. I'd be terrified of making a mistake and putting my sister in a difficult position."

Tabitha agreed with him. "Finn is still young. Let him gain some experience in a smaller firm first. Once Jasmine officially joins the Jameson family, everything else will fall into place."

Both Jonathan Ford and Tabitha were terrified of Finn making a misstep.

They had already made one catastrophic mistake in the past.

They couldn't afford to drag their daughter down again.

Thomas laughed heartily. "True, true! Jasmine and Mr. Jameson are deeply in love. If Finn ever wants to join, he can go whenever he pleases. Since you all have it figured out, I won't nag."

Elara Townsend pouted, feeling indignant for her cousin. "But Josie Somerset's fans are being so smug right now."

"They're all over the internet claiming that you and Rowan must be breaking up, and that's the real reason you resigned."

Jonathan frowned. "Who is Josie Somerset?"

Finn chimed in, "She's the hottest star in the entertainment industry right now. With her stunning looks and massive fame, she's definitely qualified to be considered a real rival to Jasmine."

Grandma Ford immediately scowled, her tone dripping with disapproval. "Utter nonsense."
