Swapping a Broken Heart for a New Start novel Chapter 961

The scarred man had no time to dodge. The force of the kick sent him flying backward, his body slamming hard onto the ground and kicking up a cloud of dust. For a moment, he couldn't even get up.

Just then, headlights pierced the darkness. Several cars screeched to a halt in front of them, and Aaron leaped out, followed by reinforcements.

The new arrivals swarmed from the cars, and in a matter of moments, the remaining black-clad men were subdued. Within minutes, the entire arrogant group was bound and on their knees.

Only then did Aaron approach Dennis to report. “Mr. Williams, you were right. There were several other groups lying in wait nearby, all targeting you. They've all been taken care of and are being held in a nearby abandoned warehouse.”

Dennis nodded, pleased with Aaron's efficiency. “Take these men there as well.”

“Yes, sir!” Aaron acknowledged, then motioned for his men to haul the captives away.

Soon, the entire group was being led off.

Christian stood frozen, utterly bewildered. “Aaron, what in the world is going on?” How had so many people appeared out of nowhere?

“Of course, that alone isn’t enough to prove you're the mole. What really confirmed our suspicions were the locations you marked for us on the way here. That was a deliberate misdirection.

“You probably didn't know this, but the items Mr. Adams uses were custom-made for him by NextGen Technologies. The system can trace every location he's ever been. When I spoke with his bodyguards, the information they gave me didn't match the route you outlined. At first, I was just suspicious. But after I left the car, I logged into the system and re-checked the tracking data myself. I discovered that you were intentionally trying to mislead us. The routes you pointed out were completely fake…

“And the most crucial point: the road you led us to. This was the ambush point. This was your master's true objective. Not only did they want to kidnap Mr. Adams, but they also wanted to stop Mr. Williams from finding him. They even hoped to restrict his movements.”
