Joseph observed his sister’s self–imposed romantic drama with amusement. He said nothing.

“You! Go talk sense into your sister!” Adrian yelled.

“Got it, Dad,” Joseph smiled.

That made Adrian angrier. “You’re no better!”

Joseph shut up and nodded repeatedly.

“On Christmas Eve! You’re going to give me a heart attack!”

Despite the rising tension at home, Joseph slipped out with an excuse.

Late at night, Daisy curled up in her penthouse, scrolling through the group chat.

Happiness practically spilled out of the photos.

They planned to get together in two weeks.

This time, Anthony was attending too.
